Lots and lots of space and more machines than I have ever seen in my entire life. You really have to see it in person.Lots of diversity in games, some over 70+ years old and still running. You can tell that the current owners care a lot about keeping the place open and the machines clean and functioning. It's clear that this place has been here a very long time and I appreciate the amount of work it takes to operate these machines in 2025.Lots of friendly staff as well!

09/22/24The Penny Arcade is a very fun side attraction in Manitou Springs. All the arcade games are along a nice little alley (some games are inside buildings with air conditioning and there are some "kiddie rides" outdoors). It is like a little museum with old mall games and rides. Some games give you tickets, which you can redeem for a prize(s) at the Skeeball building. Overall, the Penny Arcade was really fun, and even though we only spent around $10 or less, we got to play lots of games.Prizes: The prizes are like usual arcade prizes - about 3-20 tickets could get you candy, 50-200 for a rubber duck or a small toy, 250-500 for a medium sized toy, 1000+ for a stuffed animal or "big" toy, etc.

A trip to Manitou Springs is not complete without a visit to the Penny Arcade located in the town center. The games are NO longer a penny, but most of them range from a quarter to $1 range, with a few of the newer updated machines. Some of the machines are located in the outside among the maze of many rooms and buildings. Some of these machines are not in the best of shape and if you get a coin jam or a game just does not work, good luck trying to find someone from the staff that can assist. Play at your own risk. One of the more fun games was the Vintage Horse Racing game in the center building. Loved that game! I must have played it for 30 minutes, and it was so much fun competing against other patrons of the arcade instead of a computer. Enjoy!!! and Have fun!

A unique arcade located in Manitou Springs. Indoor and outdoor arcades with multiple buildings next to each other. The games are no longer a penny but range from 25 cents to $1. There's a combination of old-school and new game machines. We stopped by during the weekend, and it was crowded. There's a lot to do here. You can spend about $20 and get your money's worth.

We have been to this arcade 3-4 times and went back last night and had a blast for a couple hours on 7/9/24. The weather was so nice and the view of the mountains was beautiful to see and being able to play the old games we remember growing up was a great part of having fun.We closed the place down too so we didn't get to get over and get the pizza slice I wanted to or play pong ball machines but we plan to get back to it since we still have a roll of quarters to spend! I would recommend this place for family fun or adult fun as well. We love Manitou!

Beware they don't allow strollers inside the buildings! If you bring one be prepared to leave it outside the building because it's packed tight with old school arcade games and people! Lots of people! Next time we will leave our stroller at home. There's about 5 smallish buildings filled with arcade games that take quarters only. I saw a few vintage machines say 10 cents but unsure if those actually worked. Don't worry we saw multiple quarter dispensers outside as we mazed our way through the buildings. My favorite was the Horse Derby. Loved racing against other people, it was 75 cents per race. The machines spit out tickets you can redeem for prizes. Overall cute place to check out! There's plenty of shops/food surrounding the arcade too.

The kids were given $10 and spent 2hrs playing games. You can bring cash and make change once you arrive. Workers were very helpful when the kids needed assistance. 8 different buildings of games and games outside of buildings! Very cool stop for the family! We visited the arcade twice to allow the kids some freedom and kid time. I felt safe letting them walk independently of us. Like any other arcade, you don't play the games for the prizes however, tickets seemed fairly easy to get and several games offered tickets.

Ahhhh the memories I have here!! I will never forget learning about this place over 10 years ago when I first moved to Colorado. I was like penny arcade, no way...what's the catch. The only catch is you need to go and create some memories. There are so many nostalgic games you can play and introduce to your children or friends. They have from arcade to even pin ball. The only downfall is sometimes there are some games that are down but there is other ones to fill in the gaps. So you will stay busy and having fun! They do not have food inside the arcade but they have places close by you can check out. Also bring cash/coins to play. Parking was free but it now only free for the first 30 minutes and then you have to pay. All in all I will definitely go back and keep taking folks to experience what I did!

PROSIt was a lot of funThe games are very reasonable/cheapSome of the workers were very friendlyThere is ALOT to do in various buildingsThe town itself is beautiful There is an amazing lemonade stand across the roadCONSA lot of the games did not spit out tickets as shownI spent $40 for 2-3 hours and lost probably $10 in games because they were not workingSome workers did reimburse the kiddo for the games, others did notThe man who was chewing food and talking to us with food spitting out his mouth at the ticket counter was pretty unprofessional The buildings were VERY VERY crowdedOverall, it was a good day, but just discouraged with the way some of it was handled/set up with the amount of people
