If you are seeking a slip for your boat, I would highly recommend going elsewhere. My boat suffered $2,000.00 in cosmetic damages while parked at a seasonal slip. The manager admitted to handling my boat without my consent or knowledge and that it was his right to do so. Owner and manager have refused to compensate for the damages after several months of back and forth emails. Owner tried to get his insurance to pay for the damage but I'm assuming was denied since he has not responded to me for several months. Manager stated they are not responsible for damage to vessel - even if they were the last to handle the boat. First, this is not written into the mooring agreement and if it were, this would be deemed unconscionable. Just absurd.

I recently attended an event at Pelican Bay. The staff was absolutely amazing. They care so much about their guests having the best experience possible. I can't wait to attend another event there soon.

Pelican Bay has the friendliest staff, the rental boats are always clean and in good working order. We're lucky to have someplace like this so close to Denver.

Rented a boat with a group of friends. The company is Go Boat. Avoid at all cost. The man who manages it has a team of children who forgot to mention that you must wear a life jacket while tubing. No signs warning this either. No guidance whatsoever. Police ticketed us and we lost 1 hour of paid boat time. When we talked to the manager regarding this, we got a lot of attitude. He can do this because he's the only boat rental company there so whether you're happy or not isn't his problem. Proceed with caution.

Wow... Absolutely awesome experience! So much fun and so many great memories made with our kids!!! Joseph, Jacob, and Jared are incredible! Thank you guys for busting your butts to make sure we had everything we needed and insuring that we knew everything we needed to know to have the BEST time possible because that's exactly what we got. The only downside is; now the kids want me to buy a boat because they had such a blast... Thanks for a phenomenal day fellas. We appreciate your hard work.

Rented a pontoon and a jet ski. The pontoon was great and relaxing, but there was no ladder to get back into the boat. We were told it was hooked up in the back. When we got back to the dock we let the worker know that there was no ladder and he said "oh they must have removed it". Whatever, not a big deal. The jet ski on the other hand was awful. Within the first 10 minutes the maintenance light came on and on the drive back in, it completely shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I tried calling the office a number of times but no one picked up and the mailbox was full so couldn't leave a message. They got us back out on a different jet ski after 45Minutes of waiting on our boat. We got back out on a second jet ski and no more than 10 minutes later, the same exact thing happened. They didn't have another one to give us. Super disappointing.

The Marina at Cherry Creek was well work 5 stars under the old owner, but since ownership changed a few years ago, it is just not the same. Yes, they have bar, and a great view, and a great location and good service, but they have a very limited selection of beverages, and only already prepared food, like a service station. They no longer have a kitchen. On this visit, the meager selection of beers on tap were flat and warm, and beer in the cooler was warm because the walk in wasn't functioning. On such a hot day, we wanted something cold. They have a mini fridge behind the bar, and the only cold thing in there was a small selection of canned beer, wine and Prosecco. We had one drink just for the view, then left.It is worth visiting for the view, and I'm sure their cold beverage issues will get fixed, but go if want a killer view.

The Event Coordinator at Pelican Bay was extremely rude to me this past Sunday. I had at least two other patrons of the restaurant come up to me and state that everyone has had terrible experiences her. She shouldn't be working in a customer service role if she can't be kind to the guests.

Who knew that there was a giant reservoir in the middle of Aurora? Nice big lake, not too hard to get to, and renting a pontoon is pretty easy.Last Sunday, a group of 8 of us rented the small pontoon around 2 PM and spent a few hours on the water. Plenty of space to put around, and the water was nice and warm when we decided to go swimming. Also, swimming ability is optional because you can stand in the water in a lot of places. Also, pretty easy to get to on the light rail. Some cons: I couldn't find any bicycle parking at the Lake House, so you kind of have to improvise. Also, the smaller pontoon is supposed to seat 8, but we found it to be a little cramped. I'd likely recommend the 10-seater if you have the option.Overall, a lot of fun, we will definitely be going back.

Very unfortunate, I have always gone to concerts on the beach and immensely enjoyed myself. I have written multiple reviews praising them, encouraged multiple people to go. Their first concert after covid was terrible. I didn't attempt to order food, as I could hear everyone complaining that they ordered food an hour an half ago, and still had received it yet. This was the first time they ever had an opening band-which was terrible. At 8pm we left and the band (we bought tickets for) hadn't started to play yet. I contacted Pelican Bay and asked for a refund, or credit b/c they advertised the Buckstiend was starting at 7pm, at 8pm they still weren't on stage. I get this was the first concert of the season, and there were hiccups, which is why I was okay with credit. They never responded to my request-just ignored me, so I challenged the charge with my credit card company, I am not sure why they are surprised, I did contact Pelican Bay first on two separate occasions. I am now banned from their facility and being refunded, not for the Buckstein tickets I purchased, but for the upcoming concert tickets, I already purchased tickets for. WOW, seems a little over the top, they could have just called me back or responded to my email, and apologies for the kinks. I feel like Erik is a 13-year girl, and I am her mother who just told her, her skirt was too short.
