Peaks N Pitas

I've tried the Souvlaki pita and the Shawarma and enjoyed both. The Souvlaki was my favorite and I ate the whole thing in one sitting which is rare for me. The chicken was tender and flavorful. I'm looking forward to trying all their recipes and am so glad we have this food truck in Salida!

Glad they left BV...We should be able to award negative stars, as they don't deserve a single one. These folks are unaware of organizing, let alone capable of returning a phone call. Recently arranged a lunch for a group. What a magnanimous fiasco. Never ate there. Never. Will. Perhaps they can only manage folks standing in front of them, one at a time, and not multiple orders. They call it a 'business kink' regarding a lack of calls returned? Sooooooooo, one must be in business more than three months in order to become adept at simply returning phone calls? Wow, how sad. In addition to what has been previously submitted, we should add poor record keeping. Too little, positively too late. That day, we had a large family event and went elsewhere. *Incredibly unprofessional to review your own business.

The loveliest people and a solid option for schwarma. Nice to have a quick option for lunch that isn't a burger! The patio they have set up this year (tucked into an alley near Little Red Hen) is great for hanging out over lunch, too.

I give a 10 plus stars but they only allow me to do 5. Excellent food and service!!! I highly suggest!!!! I got the Chicken Shawarma with a side of fries. So good!!!! And the fries have a light seasoning on them; excellent!!!! :)

this place is the best so flavorful.... Super nice people to support them. I wish they were open year-round.

We LOVED peaks & pitas! It is a cute little food truck in downtown Salida with an outdoor picnic area for eating. The food was delicious, and I would recommend the loaded fries and steak pita! It's all freshly made and the flavors were amazing. Great service as well! It's a small family run business and the owner was so friendly and made us feel like special guests! Would highly recommend!

Delicious and quick. Highly recommend the large Chicken shawarma plate and the steak gyros. Don't let this being a food truck fool you! Nice patio too.

Food was delicious, and Nathan and his partner were SO kind! They were very helpful and gave us a batch of fries for free since we were ordering for the whole family.

The food was incredibly delicious! What a wonderful menu with so many options for those who eat chicken, meat or vegetarian. Loved every thing we ordered.!!!!!

Just had their food yesterday. We got to try all 4 pita selections and they were all good. Friendly service and we got our food pretty quickly considering it was a larger order. Would order there again.
