Parkview Motel

If you are going to or passing thru, this motel is a great option. The location is perfect, it is very clean and the staff is friendly.Rooms are small, perfect for one or two people only. The free breakfast was more than I expected. Lots of options and again, very clean. Nothing fancy just a great spot to lay your head and clean up when visiting.

Great stay! Perfect location for Royal Gorge. Check in was fast and easy. Kind lady at the front desk gave us lots of dinner choices and let us know what places would be open and/or closed. Room was clean and in good condition. Would stay again.

Stayed here two nights and enjoyed the place. Definitely one of the better mom and pop motels we've come across and the price was fair. Good location, clean, and solid amenities. The only complaints were that the wi-fi was sketchy. I think there was a guy there working on it... things happen. And, there were some ants near the doorway. I told the nice lady the next morning and we didn't see any more after that. I feel both issues were flukes and seemed they were either trying to be fixed or was fixed. This easily could have been 5 stars and I would definitely stay here again to test that theory.

Great, clean rooms with a complementary breakfast.We stayed here before rafting and it was close to some awesome bars and restaurants on the main downtown street.

Retro from the outside and perfectly comfortable and clean on the inside. Traveling with my kids who loved having their own bed (3 Queen sized beds!).

We stayed here when our friend was in the ICU in Canon City. It was a stressful time but the front desk lady was so accommodating and kind! The room was clean and fresh ( this is always my biggest concern), the breakfast was extensive with a relaxing environment. They were so kind and even let us have a late checkout. I can't thank them enough. We had been driving so much during the last week and getting very little sleep at the hospital. It was so wonderful to have such a relaxing and pleased environment to freshen up in. I heard other travelers at breakfast saying how the location was great. Unfortunately we did not get to do any sight seeing but there seemed to be shops, parks and the Royal Gorge train station within walking distance.

Perfect location if you're doing the Royal Gorge train. Place is really clean. Totally worth the stay

I normally don't write reviews on hotel/motel stays but this one deserves a review. We stayed one night while enjoying a trip south from Denver. This was one of the cleanest motels I've ever stayed in!!! I was pleasantly surprised. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The linens were crisp white. Bathroom clean. I love how they use refillable shower toiletries rather than the travel sizes than end up in landfills. The continental breakfast was good enough to give us some morning fuel. The location was also great! Across from the river walk park. Easy walk to the Royal Gorge Train. Easy walk to historic old town. There's a great little brewery just behind the hotel. This is a small operation. Family operated(?). You can tell they put their heart into the Parkview.

An older hotel but don't be discouraged. It was very clean, comfortable beds and super friendly staff. The walls inside and out are recently painted and in good repair. The bathroom was super clean, had everything you need and also updated with a nice floor, shower, toilet and sink. It's an older part of town but seemed safe and was quiet except for being next to the highway. I would definitely stay here again!
