Paradise Bakery

As you approach, at about the same time the fantastic smells from the bakery hit you, expect to hit the line! Don't let the line scare you though, it always moves quickly. I've tried their breakfast burritos, cookies, gelato, and sorbet! I've never been disappointed. It's always safe to give something a try at Paradise Bakery. P.S. Expect a mini-cookie on top of your gelato or sorbet...mine wasn't pictured because it was already eaten. Oops!

This being my 4th visit to Aspen, 3rd in two years, maybe it's fair to say that I'm a regular patron of Paradise. There's definitely a reason why I have to make a stop here every time I visit, right? It's actually more than one reason! The gelatos are my summer favorites; there are usually more flavors that I was interested in than I could eat, so be sure to bring friends with whom you can share. I also really like their pastries, e.g. their scones and muffins. Recently I tried their cream cheese brownie -- I gulped it down after a couple hours on the ski slope. It was yummy though in retrospect it was a tad bit too rich. I was definitely filled with calories that lasted me through dinner. What I really appreciated was actually the mini-muffins -- they were the right size for me to appreciate the various flavors without being too full! Can't wait to be back again :)

LOVE THIS PLACE. In the summer they have live music outside. All of the pastries are made fresh daily in house. This place gives the European bakery vibe right here in Colorado. It's busy, but the line is fast and moves quickly! You pick what you want, you pay and leave. A simple, business model executed beautifully. Anytime I am an aspen. I will always stop by here to grab a pastry some ice cream and coffee. The gelato here is so good, obviously, not as good as you would get in Europe, but that has to do with the milk difference in the US versus Europe. For the US, it's really good gelato. They have a lot of different flavors. I've never been disappointed, and I've been here six times. My phone never eats first here. I'm so excited every time. By the time I've finished my food I realize I never took any pics! I guess that's saying something too #sorrynotsorry update: found one picture

The smell of deliciousness just knocks you over as soon as you walk in. I am so excited to get something from their bakery now. Homemade gelato! Where have you been?The staff is super friendly. The coffee is good, but not craveable if that is a word. All the gelato comes out with an adorable delicious cookie on top. Their orange marmalade muffin is amazing. I would come back for the bakery and gelato.

Busy place, but worth the wait. We had the ham and cheese croissants. Delicious! Highly recommend!

I was going to get dessert from Paradise after dinner Friday evening and then decided against it because I didn't want to be too full. I told myself I'd get a little victory dessert the next day after the Aspen Valley Marathon. I stopped in to treat myself to their yummy gelato. I had half birthday cake and half Black Diamond Cookies & Cream. I loved the little cookie atop. The treats in the front case looked sooooo good! I wanted one of everything.Definitely returning on a trip in the future.Fast, friendly service. I didn't have much of a wait on the afternoon I went. I was in and out within 5 minutes and my order came up very quickly.Everyone LOVES Paradise! You absolutely cannot come to Aspen and not have them.

Lots of great flavors! We got to sample a few flavors from their selection. All were delicious. I ordered the fudge brownie shake and my hubs ordered the mint chocolate chip. We also had the blueberry gelato, which comes with a small cookie. It has an interesting tart and lemon flavor. You order inside, and they have a window outside where you can pick up your order. The outside seating area gets lots of sun and no shade, but there's plenty of seating across the street with plenty of shade.

Been coming here for almost 30 years, and it has always been a constant in Aspen! Delicious coffee, pastries, cookies, and gelato. Service is fast even when the long is line (which is often). Very small space but plenty of seating outside with views of Aspen mountain! Can't beat it

The line gets long but moves fast but the goodies are good. Ice cream and pastries galore. We got the macadamia nut cookie, sprinkle cookie and banana bread muffin along with a few scoops of ice cream. There was a lots of people but the energy was good. Over all a great pit stop for dessert

Legendary place in Aspen. Love the breakfast burritos. All of the pastries & muffins very good.
