Our Lady of the Woods Church

This is an awesome little church. I would go here on sundays for service when I lived in Florissant back in 2003. I had worked at a boys camp and would drive the children who wanted to attend service here. They also enjoyed the service as well and afterwards we could pick up McDonalds for breakfast, one of the strong reasons some of the kids wanted to go.The preist and staff were so nice and I really enjoyed the great service they offered. I hope they have grown since then. What made this church so great was that they always had their windows facing Pike's peek open so you can enjoy the majestic view of the mountain.I will never forget attending service here because it was just so great. The drive to the church and the drive back through the mountains made for a very nice sunday morning service. If you happen to live there or are stopping by and will be there on sunday, stop by for the morning service. Its very relaxing and enjoyable. I miss this town and colorado and hope to be back in the future. I hope this place will still be there when I come back. Thanks for the great memories of this place, especially that view!
