Olde World Bagel

If bagels are your jam, Olde World Bagel is definitely a must try! Nestled in a busy shopping centered, Olde World Bagel holds the corner down in a respectable manner. The establishment itself isn't the largest, however ample bar seating surrounding by tables provides a sufficient dine in experience. Self-serve coffee, an espresso bar and a bagel selection with enough variety to appease a connoisseur or get a beginner started, Olde World has your needs covered. While visiting COS on a recent work trip, I had the pleasure of stopping in multiple times, over 4 days. Every time, the place had a fairly decent line. However, many are locals and know their orders and the line moves pretty steady. As much as orders come in, Olde World staff handles the crowds with ease. Pricing wise, the restaurant is as fair as it gets, two bagels w/meat and coffee no more than $15 bucks. Now for the bagels, my favorites had to be either the Spinach & Parmesan, with Turkey & Bacon or French Toast, with bacon/egg & hoeny walnut spread. Each were customized to my preference, both phenomenal and packed full of flavors. In Colorado Springs, definitely give Olde World a shot for your bagel, breakfast and early lunch needs.

I read a newspaper article about this place and drove across town to try it out. And my review is mixed.I was there for lunch and ordered the "Hail Ceasar!" for $10.95. Yes, I liked the bagel a lot. But the sandwich was a disappointment. The sandwich had way too much dressing on it. And I it consisted of one piece of chicken and one piece of leaf lettuce. I did not think that the filling was worth the ~$8 additional cost over that of the bagel alone.

Great spot for breakfast. Expect a line early morning and especially weekends. Got a couple bagel sandwich's which were filling and flavorful. After purchasing our bagels we notice the day old pile behind us... Wow - next time just going to grab those instead because they were cheap and still fresh. Next time

The lox bagel sandwich was delicious, I added spouts and really enjoyed. There is a wide variety of flavors for bagels and cream cheese, I had it with spinach- Parmesan bagel and veggie cream cheese. The eggs in the egg bagel sandwich wasn't good, it was that typical premade microwaveable eggs--bland and blah. Service was great. Would definitely return for bagels....also the fresh fruit juice was a plus.

Line was long on a Sunday morning but they work super quickly. Honestly a long line is a good sign for me when trying a new place. Bagels were great. Tons of options.

Amazing food! So good we forgot to take pics. We had breakfast bagels but the lunch menu looks enticing too! Hubs tried the honey wheat while I went for the everything bagel. Delicious! The place is busy and the line out the door. The wait is worth it. Everyone was super friendly and patient. Nice deli vibe with plenty of seating and even has outdoor seating if you enjoy.

Came to this place since my husband hasn't been here since he moved out of Colorado. Place was clean, people were friendly, and it didn't take forever to get our food. I got a ham, cheese and egg bagel (French toast). There wasn't much of a French toast flavor to the bagel but overall it still tasted good.

Had breakfast here with my family while visiting Colorado Springs. This place was hopping. Always a good sign when you are trying a new place. We all had breakfast sandwiches. I had a spinach Parmesan bagel that was very good. I am sure the locals all know about this place. If you are visiting check this place out. Don't worry if the line is long they are pretty efficient.

I'll keep this brief - probably one of the best bagels I've had in the entire state of Colorado. I had the bagel & lox special (sprouts, cucumber, lox, chive cream cheese, everything bagel) and requested for the bagel to be extra toasty. The bagel was toasted perfectly and was exactly what I hope for when ordering bagel & lox.The restaurant feels like an old diner and has a great vibe. The service was fairly quick too.The Natalie's blood orange juice was a great addition to the bagel sammie. The next time I'm in Colorado Springs, Olde World Bagel will be top of my list for breakfast!

This is the second time I have ordered a breakfast sandwich with meat egg and cheese on a japaleno cheddar bagel. I got a cranberry orange bagel with no egg. Not a good combo. Very poor performance think I will reconsider my breakfast choice next time.
