Super awesome farmers market and my favorite one in town. I love how many produce booths are here...at least 5-6 that I saw today! I was able to stock up on my weekly veggies, get local eggs, peaches, salsa and crystals. Old Colorado city is adorable, which makes this a great location. There's lots of food there and other restaurants/shops around the area, so lots do to before or after the market. Make sure to bring cash since many of the booths are cash only. Also the bathrooms were very high tech haha. And clean!

Cute farmer's market with a good variety of produce, breads, granola, and sweet treats to sample and purchase. There are also plenty of vendors selling prepared food items to enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. There is a cute little (pretty little) climbing area for small children to enjoy for quite a bit of time for parents that need a break while the kids expend their energy. There are some shaded spots and grassy area to take a rest.I did find that as the market got busy, which was not much past 8am, it was hard to navigate through the people. The walkways are not very wide and with some steps, everyone must watch where they are going pretty carefully. The steps also make it hard for those with strollers or mobility issues to get around as well. I'm sure this is a good downtown location, but the market might need to move location as it expands.

Good selection, with several farmstand vendors and a wide variety of items. Also some good hot food vendors. But the market area itself is very crowded. And the fruit, vegetables, and meats are all very expensive even by farmers market standards. It's also worth noting that the City of Colorado Springs does not take good care of the public bathrooms in the park where the market is held. They are state of the art bathrooms, and the technology is impressive. But the toilet paper and soap are often missing. I've seen this several times before.

I really really do love this farmers market. I've been enjoying it for years, but this time there wasn't as much produce as the years before. My hope is it was because it was the first day? There were a lot of unique vendors so that was so much fun walking around and looking at. I can't wait to see what this year brings as time goes on. You're able to take your dogs, a lot of folks did. The vendors spaced out really well so that walking around was a breeze and you didn't feel completely cramped. The mushroom stall was so cool! If I wasn't spending a day out and about I totally would have gotten some to devour at home.

Prob the best FM in the metro area. Parking a bit difficult. Local vendor selection pretty good. Woodland park on Friday morning also good.

This is the first time I've been back to this Farmers Market in YEARS! I remember there being a lot more fruits and veggies, but maybe it is still early in the season. There were some beautiful flowers for sale and gobs of pastries. We picked up some macaroons that were to die for! The pineapple smoothie was worth the $10 and you could get a refill for $5. I have had a hard time finding green beans in stores, so I made sure to stock up! A lot of people bring their dogs with them. We had fun watching all the different breeds walk by. We got there about 10:30 and it was pretty busy. My tip...parks blocks away and walk. It's easier to get in and out and the house/flowers are fun to walk by. We even ran into a deer!

Locals consider this the best farmer's market in town, and it certainly will be the highlight of your weekend. 30+ vendors set up every Saturday, June-October. It's the perfect size--not overwhelmingly big, but not a rinky-dink affair either. Find a large variety of goods including: fresh peaches, kombucha, popcorn, jerkey, hot sauce, beets (unfortunately not from Schrute Farms), and BREAD PUDDING. I mean, when was the last time you could order bread pudding from an outdoor food vendor? Awesome. I was disappointed that I couldn't buy any lettuce or berries here, but then again, they're probably out of season and I'm just a fresh produce newb. You know your girl didn't go home without sweet onions, 3 for $1.00. Enjoy your treats on one of the picnic tables or have a picnic on the lawn. There's lots of green space for kids to play. This park runs right along the downtown scene, so you can continue your adventure at the local shops. -Bring your own reusable bags-Plan to park a few streets away-Dog friendly-If you want to shop downtown afterward, visit after 10am or else you'll come across a lot of closed stores.

This farmer's market is absolutely fantastic. Fresh local produce (try the cantaloupe, fresh picked corn on the cob, squash, peaches this time of year...), food vendors (homemade tamales and moon pies at 8am? why not.), fresh bread and pastas, local honey and salsas and cheeses, homemade soaps, extensive craft vendors...amazing. Wonderful. And because it's smack dab in the middle of Old Colorado City I recommend making an early morning of it and eat breakfast at one of the little cafe's down the road before walking over to peruse the market. Word to the wise: don't forget to bring your own (reusable) bags for comfort and to avoid dirty looks from the regulars. Bring more cash than you plan on spending. And go before they close in October, these local vendors get up WAY early to be there waiting for you, have quality goods, and need your support.

Be careful what produce you buy. Some stand has produce with stickers on em, they're not organic, and they're from Cali.
