I packed up my Bose Lifestyle 25 CD Player on July 7th, 2020 and shipped it off to Norbern Electronics in Colorado. The CD Player skipped terribly and the Digital display was totally non-functional. I am Happy to report that my unit was completely repaired and I received it back via UPS on July 30th, 2020. The unit was completely restored and it plays as well as it did when it was Brand New. I had 2 Phone calls with Norbern Electronics, one with Toni and the other with Norm. Both times the calls were helpful and courteous. The price was as we agreed over the Phone on the initial call, and there were no surprises. Thanks Toni and Norm for a Fantastic job. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing a Bose Unit repaired.

I have a vintage record player from my Grandmother that my roommate broke. It has been a special part of my family's life since the 70's. I have been calling around and heard good things about this shop. I called and left a message and heard nothing back for days. I decided to call back again and see when I could take it in to get serviced. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and told me no one would fix my record player in town or in Denver and proceed to hang up on me. I am very glad I didn't take my player into a business who is so careless about their customers. Very disappointed...

I consider Norm and his operation pretty much unequaled in the North Springs area. I've had an open reel deck disassembled and serviced here and a pair of speakers refoamed, and I couldn't be happier with both the service and the prices. I have quite a few high-end analog electronics that I am slowly resurrecting, and I have complete confidence in Norbern to be there when I need the real professionals. Highly recommended!Also: don't miss the Pikes Peak Electronics museum as you walk in to the right hand side. It's a treasure trove of vintage tube and transistor electronics with everything from the first CRT televisions to tube testing equipment to everything in between. A lot of fun for the enthusiast!

My Onkyo home theater system started acting squirrely and I wasn't sure that it would be cost effective to have it repaired. I called Norben's and reviewed the Onkyo's issues with the nice guy that answered the phone. I worked 30+ years in electronics and was impressed with his questions and over the phone assessment. Even though this system cost $1000 new, technology and the market progressed and great systems are available now for a lot less. Anyway, he said he could perform a non-refundable diagnosis but advised, because of the symptoms and knowing that it was likely a microprocessor issue, that he wouldn't recommend even spending that much on the system. I was impressed on his candor and apparent intelligence in diagnosis. I will definitely recommend Norben to my friends and keep them tucked away for future reference.

Everything went just as planned. My Bose top loaded wave cd/radio is back in tip top shape. The cd player was totally inoperable. Norm and Toni are excellent people to deal with, which is very rare to find this day and time. The price is very fair too.

I've had a Bose Wave Radio since 2000 and it stopped working from one night to the next. Norm at Norbern electronics spoke with me over the phone and was very informative and clear about what they do. He took all the time I needed. He gave me his opinion, specs, details, etc. and I decided to go ahead with the repairs. He even talked to me at length after the diagnosis to go over options. They did a great job. I had zero problems with customer service or the repairs/ packaging, etc. Norm was great, Toni was doing her job. I don't expect a life long friend after dealing with them. If you have a Bose unit that needs repairs, call Norm. They will do right by you. I've had the unit back a week and so far it's like new. Sounds better than I remember. P.S. UPS charges a kidney to send a wave radio. Be prepared to be completely ripped off by any delivery or package service. I am still not over what they charged. The UPS guy didn't even look at the address, and said it would cost more because it's Colorado. Meanwhile. I get a 20 pound package with bigger dimensions from amazon for free. With free returns. Corporations are getting a free ride, while you and I pay out the nose for everything.

What an amazing find Norbern Electronics has been. We have had a Bose Lifestyle Series II for years. When CDs were stuck and we were unable to use the system, I located NorbernElectronics on the internet. We just received our repaired/refurbished Bose equipment back. From the first prompt return call to my initial inquiry to the l quick turn around of repair with carefulreturn packaging and a system that looks like new and works beautifully, Norbern has represented great customer service and high quality. I too have had the "experience" of their Customer Service. Having recently returned to Colorado after living the past 15 years in Shanghai I needed some assistance and direction about potential repairs on two turntables, as well as two floor speakers.I am not going to go into some long diatribe as there are several already outlining the SAME response and feedback I received. I was ready to drive over four hours to have my equipment repaired/ and or restored.I wouldn't walk four seconds if the business was the only one left on this planet to get ANYTHING done at Norbern Electronics....

I had the not-so-fun experience of my Bose subwoofer begin sounding like a bad reverb had infected it. With the help of Norm, I was able to dig into it - safely - and find the problem. It was a very simple fix that did not require it to be professionally repaired. I would not have had the knowledge or confidence to take on the task if not for the people at Norbern. I can highly recommend them and I must also suggest you drop them a line when you have an issue - their knowledge of the equipment they repair is extensive, they are very helpful and very responsive!
