Best church I've ever been to! You should definitely check it out. I think you'll love it. The worship music is the best. You have to be there to feel how great it is!

I left this this Church years ago, this is an updated review as I was bullied for having Asperger's, but anyways this Church expects behavior from you. They expect you to like Pop Music, Go To College, and expect to fit into the Church here, I left and NEVER looked back. Actually and after I left, I was able to realize how I only want to do shop work as a hobby and do something else. You see the whole reason why I got into shop work is because of this Church as I was fighting to fit in. I now realize that I still like Metal Music, but I just want to change careers because this Church is not worth anyone's time.

Amazing church with great people. The pastor made himself very available and I really appreciate that.

We love this church. Our first visit we were given a gift and met some of the staff. After a couple of months, we started serving and suddenly, this large church became small as we built friendships and community with so many good people!I've heard people say that they don't want to attend here because it's too big, but I say, give it one try! The music is OUT OF THIS WORLD incredible. Songs that are written by the music team at New Life are sung all over the world. The children's ministry is PHENOMENAL! Great teachers who teach amazing lessons to our children. Their is a leadership group for children, a music team for kids, and 'buddies' for children with special needs.I'm glad we found this place!

PROS: Ive have been to this church, since 2009 off and on and every experience that I've had has been awesome, great sermons, and worship hits you to the soul, the first time I've ever attended I started crying tears down my face. They have helps me in so many ways. (non contact, privately) They get into worship like if your at home. And since COVID it hasn't been weird to get comfy, but the worship is still there and getting better slowing and surely. Ive have been to other churches and the worship wasn't that good, the sermons were good, but it the music that really puts you into your feels with god, the holy spirit. new life doesn't push you into anything you don't want to do, they don't shove a bible into your face. simple they respect your needs. if you are attending a church and if this is your first time, trust me you will love them, they are respectful in many ways, that they teach about and they don't push it into your face. they go at a pace that you like. but it all depends on you to trust god or not. CONS: The church is BIG when I mean BIG a lot of people. the pastors are friendly but not helpful when you need help (ex. finding a home, or help with utilities, etc.)christian people around can be rude and not very friendlythey help the rich more than the poor. $

I have gone for 12 years, I am about to start working there, and I can say for sure that the Lord and His spirit is so alive and baked into that church!

Pastor Mel was so helpful to us during one of the worst times in our lives, the passing of our grandfather. Without the generosity of New Life Church, the hospitality of the staff, and the professionalism of pastor Mel, we could not have had a more memorable funeral. We love this church and how welcoming they make everyone feel.

I went here once for a class assignment. I had to go here to experience being outside my comfort zone, and boy did I!I was raised Catholic. All the sacraments and the six years at Catholic school, the whole nine yards. I did still experience different denominations and different religions growing up, and though they were different, they weren't scary. But New Life was scary! And overwhelming, and funny, and amusing...just a whole slew of emotions. The lead up to going to the church was a very long line of cars all driving north on Powers Blvd., all going to New Life and it's massive parking lot. Instead of going in the side entrance that was closest, I went in the front and was immediately taken aback. It wasn't simple the sheer number of people or the size of the place, but the fact it has a full scale cafe right there in the front that was crazy busy providing food and drink for people! So instead of feeling like I was in a church, I immediately felt like I was in a mall. further down the walk way was the little book shop with (of course) a bunch of Christian-themed books, including one that was a fairytale about virginity for little girls. Next I wandered down the Hall of Kids (as I called it) where all of the kids were checked in by computer with their little ID cards for their Sunday school classes. There were at least ten computers with lines being used! Wowza! Eventually, after going all the way around the church, I went into the inner hall where the services take place. Holy jebus it was *huge*! A very large stage with a full Christian rock band and a choir on it on one side of the room with, what, five rows of seating on the other three sides. There were giant screens hanging off the ceiling that showed camera shots of the stage, and stage lighting making patterns on the ceiling. It was like be in an arena for a rock concert! The place filled up quickly, almost completely full, and when the service took place the giant screens not only showed shots of the pastor (not Ted Haggard but his replacement) but also multimedia presentations about the stuff being talked about. Oh, and they also showed the lyrics for the songs the church sang. After the service a long line of people stood by the stage for others to go up to and be prayed on. That was pretty busy. And I also attended the welcoming new members part where I recieved a free CD of Christian rock music and an information packet, along with free food. Don't get me wrong, I assume that many people there are nice people just going to church. But it was all so overwhelming and seemed a little, well, ridiculous. Was such craziness so necessary? I mean, not even St. Peter's in Vatican City is as ostentatious or commercial. But, whatever. It's not like I'll be going back there any time soon, though I do think it's worth a visit by outsiders just simply to experience the epitome of mega churches, a uniquely American thing. This church is truly a symbol of all of the not so good of American culture.

Love this church but since Pastor Brady took over, he shut down the World Prayer Center and there's no longer any place to submit prayers for the congregation to pray for their own. There's no way to submit a prayer request on the website and it appears the church does not really want them. Pastor Brady has been gone a lot ever since he got there...sometimes wonder who the real pastor is. Some of the pastors' sermons have condemned money and being successful. Not any pastors there with a pep in their step like it used to be. The church needs a new pastor that can passionately ignite a fire in people as they step into a new week, and for the glory of God!
