New Day Cafe Colorado Springs

Great service. Good food for breakfast or lunch. You can't go wrong with this place.Everything was outstanding.

You will always find a crowd here. Pancakes are delicious and it's one of our favorite breakfast places in the Springs. (we also go to Black Bear Diner and Oliver's). Service is friendly and quick.

This place was buzzing on a weekday morning for breakfast. There wasn't a hostess-- the servers will seat you, so be prepared to wait. The extensive breakfast menu offers something for everyone in your group. I ordered the strawberry crepes, and they were delicious! The crepes were thin with the perfect texture--neither chewy nor gummy. They were filled with fresh strawberries and a sweet cream filling that wasn't overly sweet. The strawberry glaze and whipped cream on top were the perfect finishing touches!

I loved the people working- they were smiling and working very very hard- very impressive! I like the menu but I didn't end up loving my sausage gravy which was disappointing. My friend enjoyed her chile relleno omelet a lot and said it was really unique compared to how other places do it. I was most impressed by the excellent service and positive attitudes of the staff!

Food the food is consistently good, the service is always friendly and quick, and the restaurant itself is clean and inviting.

Met a friend for brunch at the New Day Cafe and grateful that we stopped in! From the minute we walked in the restaurant to when we payed our bill, everything was perfect. When we walked in, the hostess was friendly and inviting as she immediately sat us at our table. Our server was equally awesome and offered some suggestions from the menu. I went plain Jane and just got some eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and French toast. Almost forgot! I also got a mimosa! Everything was perfect!The ambiance was that of a typical breakfast/brunch diner, but I have to mention that this restaurant is well-kept and very clean. No complaints or any issues to speak of. We'll definitely be coming back here to eat again! Two thumbs and two toes up for New Day Cafe. Happy eating, my foodies!

Came into Colorado for Traveling Soccer, found this place and quickly noticed the great reviews. Went around 9AM, got a seat with the wife right away. Busy but also extremely friendly staff. I got the Spicy Chile Relleno. Asked the waiter what Locals typically get and she mentioned this one although I was heading towards the Skillet. Boy, she was spot on. It was fantastic. Wife got the New Day Combo and enjoyed hers too. As a foodie, I recommend this if you are close by for sure. Considered going back for lunch, but got busy. Next time New Day! Next time.

I love supporting small businesses! I like to stop in for breakfast at this cute little cafe. The food is always wonderful and the service is great too. My only complaint is I wish they had longer hours :)

Great coffee, food enjoyable, servers were very friendly. Ambience was nothing special (but given the location I wasn't expecting anything special). Definitely worth going to if you are in Colorado Springs!I got country fried steak and scrambled eggs both times we ate here (back to back days after swim training for one of my kids). The ravenous swimmer ate the standard eggs bacon and toast and it was enough for him to not be hungry post workout on either day. I didn't want carbs and one day the server put the things in a la carte (which was cheaper) without me asking (tbh I didn't care about paying the full price since it was a special order). So good food. Good coffee. Good service. Happy we went, definitely recommend!

Made our third visit to this restaurant today. The wait time was shorter than we expected, and their place is always clean. My eggs benedict were made with regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon, but it wasn't a big issue so I didn't say anything. The home fries were warm, but not as fresh as they have been in the past. So - food was okay but not at the level I've enjoyed previously. HOWEVER - our server, Claire, was delightful and attentive. I don't believe in punishing wait staff for a kitchen problem, so Claire got over-tipped. Wait staff work hard, and I think they should be appropriately rewarded. I'll go back, and hope that next time their food quality returns to my earlier visits.
