New Day Cafe

Love this cafe tried to take our oldest son there last Saturday for lunch but it was packed and people were waiting all the way outside so we ended going to IHOP on Academy. Will have to take him during the week next time. I love their food and how friendly their waitresses are.

New place, must try. Open only for breakfast and lunch till 2pm. Food was very fresh, coffee was very tasty. Service was very good. It is actually larger inside than I thought from the outside. Country Benedict was very tasty. Grits, eggs and bacon my wife said was very fresh and obviously not just sitting in a warmer to be pulled out.I suggest you give it a try. We will definitely be back.

The service here is the best ever! Friendly servers help get your "New Day" started right. The food is consistently good and the coffee is superlative!They have nice enclosed outside dining which is great on a sunny day!

2 stars as I hope they improve and stick around, it's nice to have local restaurants that aren't a chain. Their other location is very good, the Voyager one (near Sprouts) not so much. Staff was friendly upon entering and ordering, restaurant clean and open. I ordered a trainer omelette (egg whites, seasoned ground turkey, mushroom, feta). I eat a lot of ground turkey, so I thought I knew what to expect.. This was not just ground turkey, the taste was overwhelming and the eggs were WaY overcooked. I set my plate to the side and waited for the server to come check on us, I would have asked for something else. She didn't come back for 10 minutes, and when she did, she brought the check. Mind you, we were 1 of 4 tables. When she grabbed my plate to take it away, I asked "is this ground turkey, or a turkey patty?" And she said it's their turkey patty. (I wouldn't have gotten that as it's basically a turkey sausage patty, not what I wanted for breakfast).(It was like having yesterday's old non-served turkey patty that was going to be a turkey burger but no one ordered it broken up and thrown into my $16 omelette, if you get the picture).She asked if there was anything else she could bring me "to make me happier". I kind of laughed, as to this point the only person I'd seen face to face is my husband and I didn't even really complain, except to ask about the turkey! So, 2 stars. My husband liked his meal, it's a nice location, and looks clean. Just had poor service even though they were nice, and my food was not good. Fingers crossed someone reads this and remembers that restaurants are needing good food AND good service (AKA-checking in once food is delivered).

Wonderful place, so glad they opened this location. Food and service were top notch!!

Food is low quality and server dropped a dirty utensil on our back. Then server stood in the back and never checked on us and never got us any refills. Then all they offered was to take a drink off our bill. The place was very crowded and tables were close together. Would not recommend.

We absolutely love New Day Cafe! We live nearby and it's become our favorite haunt. The food is fantastic. The wait staff is so caring and kind. And they have to put up with a lot of crap from people who have miserable lives and leave one star reviews on yelp. We love them! Come check it out!
