I'm not a huge history buff, however, I loved this museum! My family and I were visiting from out of state and since my grandpa flew in Navy, we thought this would be a fun experience the entire family. We all had a great time. The facility was well taken care of and spacious. The tickets are fairly priced. It was neat to see the behind the scenes of these planes being restored too. Kent was our docent and he was very knowledgeable on the planes and World War II. He pointed out unique characteristics about each plane. I learned so much in the 2 hours we were there. This is a great place for all age groups. I highly recommend checking this out if you're visiting or live nearby.

My family stopped her on our family vacation. Me and my son are quite versed with aviation and we often stop at aviation related museums during our family vacations. WW II planes is actually something we enjoy. This place did not disappoint. One of the best WW II aviation displays we have seen all across the country.Amazing care taken to the displays and planes. Grandma who does not care about planes was fascinated by the displays. The planes are pristine. The staff was SUPER knowledgeable and passionate about these aircraft. This is a GEM. :D

Add this to your must see list when in the Springs especially if you're an aviation enthusiast and a WWII buff. All the airplanes displayed actually still fly! So much to see and learn. Docents provide some interesting stories and background. A cute gift shop lets you take a piece of memory home. This is always a must stop for us and I'm so happy the dedication and hard work of the staff and volunteers have kept it growing and preserved the history of the greatest and bravest generation. Go Air-Force.
