This duck made a nest in that bush

We saw some really cool stuff here including a duck that had made a next by the small waterfall. The pond is fun to walk around and there were baby geese that my kids enjoyed watching. The playground is pretty good and had an interesting merry-go-round of sorts. There is also a cool rock bridge you can cross as you walk around the pond. The ice-cream truck came by while we were there as well.

We were visiting Colorado Springs with our dog and looked up parks and visited this little gem. This park is a beautiful green space in a pleasant neighborhood. There is a paved walking path on the perimeter, beautiful playground equipment, lands and trees. The true gem for us was the pond and it is beautifully landscaped, has a little waterfall, ducks swimming, and ample seating situated all around. We actually stopped here, walked it and sat a couple of hours and watched the water and ducks, and people watched. This was one of our most enjoyable moments on our road trip.

Beautiful park! Lovely pond and pathway around the pond. The playground is great! It seems like a newer play ground. Clean and fun!

My family of 3 were passing through Colorado Springs and looking for a park with a nice playground. We chose Nancy Lewis Park based on other Yelp reviews and were not disappointed. This is a spacious area with an open field full of green grass, duck pond, walking trail, play ground, and lots of trees with shade. All around it was a wonderful place to stop for 45 minutes to let my toddler out of the car.

This park is one of our favorites in Colorado Springs. It is large with a huge grassy area to play sports, relax, fly a kite, etc. The playground is a decent size with several swings and a climbing structure. My daughter loves the duck pond and we enjoy walking it before heading home.

The park is beautiful and the playground is awesome. But unfortunately our entire experience was ruined by the insane amount of DUCK POOP everywhere. There are hundreds of ducks and geese around the pond, which is awesome. But they have pooped so much all over the grass, the sidewalks, the picnic tables, EVERYWHERE. Obviously nothing can be done about this and it's no one's fault, but it was a real problem. My kids had poop all over the bottoms of their shoes, then they wanted to play on the playground. We wiped shoes off on the "clean" grass and sidewalk close to the playground, it no one else did. Soooo...kids just sliding down poop slides - not necessarily visible, but definitely there because most of the kids had poop on their shoes. We could not wear shoes in the car until I could get home and clean them. Cute park, but be warned.....

do not let your dogs or kids in the pond or off leash! There are turtles. sucks and geese that call the pond home. You will be fined is a park ranger is present.
