This business has closed. I drove there and there was nothing but a shell. Please tell people it's not open any longer . Too bad because it was my favorite quilt shop.

This little shop in a picturesque part of town was awesome!!! The ladies that run this shop were super attentive. The best part was all fabrics were available in fat quarters and if they didn't have it they would happily cut one for you. I walked out with a little stash of fabric for my collection. Highly recommend if you are in Colorado Springs.

Nana's Quilt Cottage is a great quilt store located in the heart of downtown Colorado City. When we walked up to the store Nana was sitting out on the front porch and greeted us with great enthusiasm. The store uses the space amazingly well and they have a great variety of fabrics and kits. The staff in the store were all very friendly and really make you feel welcome. We found lots of kits that interested us and picked up the 2017 and 2016 Row by Row kits. One of the great things is that Nana's is located just across the street from an ice cream shop so you can get a treat while you shop.

This shop is adorable, holds a wide variety of fabrics and notions but what keeps me coming back is the STAFF! They always remember my name, are efficient and friendly and make me feel more talented than I really am. Lol. I drive from Pueblo to have Niki long arm all my quilts. She is an expert at her craft.

We are in town visiting and stopped by. I was looking for a specific fabric and print and they were kind enough to offer suggestions for other shops close by. The shop is adorable and has so many cute projects and samples with fabric kits close at hand. All three ladies were friendly and asked if I needed help. We were greeted as we walked in which is always nice! There was some super cute fabric lines here too! Of course I found some things to take with me and will come back if I'm ever in the area again!

I had gone somewhere else to learn about quilting with a horrible experience and then a friend found Nana's online and we signed up for a class and the rest is history. The best place to come and learn about quilting and different techniques, the bag classes and hand embroidery classes are the greatest along with the wide variety of other classes. The ladies who run the store are the greatest, friendliest and most helpful people to help with any sewing project you may have. They have great displays of different sewing/quilting themes and are changing them up often with the new trends that are coming out and then teaching classes to help you learn the newest trends. Thank you Marybeth, Niki, Milley, Michelle, Anita and Emily!Joani Hardin
