20 minutes outside of Colorado Springs and on the way to Cañon City, nice location. Well manicured and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Full hook-ups however, the sewer hook-up at our site (69) was too far away to hook up. When we packed up, had to move the camper and dump as if we were at a dump station. This is not a pull thought site with a fifth wheel. You have to pull in then back out to leave, pretty inconvenient for a premium price. There is bear activity in the park so be responsible with your cooking and food storage.

Highly recommend staying at Mountaindale for your adventures in the Colorado Springs area! One of the best and well maintained campgrounds I have had the pleasure of visiting in the past 10 years! David and staff pour themselves into the campground, showing the tremendous care for the grounds and guests! Most lots are super spacious with fire pit, picnic table and full hook ups, while several have shade from some of the biggest trees in the area! Staff keep the flowers watered during the dry season as well!Lots of deer, turkey, come visit near the campgrounds! And several maintained trails spanning over and around the campgrounds itself. Come take a visit and experience an amazing place!

We were surprised this RV park was so far out of town. Although in Colorado Springs--it isn't in the city. It is about 30 minutes outside of town. This is a rustic park; with lots of trees and room to run. I enjoyed watching the deer that wandered through in the morning and evenings. Our site was a pull through, and fairly spacious and level.Although overall we enjoyed our stay here, there are a few issues that didn't really bother us but are worth noting. Wifi did not work that well. No cell service. And there is a rock quarry nearby, and the 18-wheelers start driving by at about 6:30 am, and run throughout the day. Not that there is a constant stream of trucks, just every once in a while. The evenings are very peaceful, though. While we were there, the staff was always out and about taking care of the grounds, which is a plus.

Fantastic Campground!! Huge, clean campsites. All with gravel, electric, water , sewer and some are even decorated with flowers. The staff is amazing, helpful and kind. After checking in a staff member will take you to your site and help you park. The campground has very clean restrooms, a little supply store, playground for the kids and even a "take out" dinner that will actually deliver to your site. I highly recommend this CG. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return.

Rented a cruise America rv from this campsite. The staff were hostile upon returning the rv and nickel and dimed us for every penny they could. After clearly being taken advantage of under the guise of "corporate authority" from cruise America, we were clearly upset. While leaving the staff were laughing at my wife and I for being upset about being charged so much money.

This was our first trip with our new camper and we were looking for somewhere quiet and close to home. We found it. This park is just beautiful. Very very clean, quiet, and peaceful. The grounds are well kept, the bathrooms are awesome (single person bathrooms with a shower), and we saw some great wildlife. My husband and son went up the hiking trail and took some beautiful pics. Nice little store in front with any toiletries and food goods you might need, and cute shirts/décor. We noticed what seemed to be a lot of long timers who were friendly. Very relaxing. If you're looking for a party spot, this is not it. If you're like us and just looking to get away from it all and relax, this is the spot for you. We had a wonderful time and definitely plan on going back.

Beautiful setting. Tight quarters requires being led to your site. The guide helps you get into your site without hurting your rig or their property. 40 ft MH towing.

Look at the other Cruise America reviews. They are very true. Incredibly hostile staff with zero respect or customer service. Our RV smelled like raw sewage most of the trip and their answer was "you should have put a tab in it," we confirmed with other cruise america renters this wasn't an issue. The RV was also not spotless when we got it and had tons of broken items they tried to push off on us. Lastly, they threatened to charge us a full cleaning fee for 'mouthing off' because "they could"DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE

We are on our last night of a very, very pleasant stay. The folks who run the place are FANTASTIC, it's clean, orderly, and quiet. We have had the best time - it's a bit of a drive into Colorado Springs but well worth it. I must say folks we've talked to from other parks talk about noise and being too close - we have none of that here. Just peace and quiet! Space #22 btw
