If I had only eaten the pumpkin pancakes I'd have given it 4 stars. Friendly service in a rustic atmosphere. Eggs were good, ham was tough, bacon was ok, iced tea was weak.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because nothing spectacular happened. Upon pulling into the parking lot, new to the area and visiting on recommendation, I asked for the lobby by a staff member and was giving polite but clear directions. We were seated promptly, friendly. Off and browsing through the buffet selection, everything fresh and tasty. Albeit an American style breakfast, meats and eggs, pancakes and fruit, there's something for everyone. It was a clear day, a wonderful view. Service was brief, but we required little. Will definitely return when there's snow to view.

We came here for their Easter Brunch this year. So good. Today we came for their Thanksgiving Brunch. Also very good. Great food, friendly, helpful staff. Only con would be the cost - about $60 pp. but no cooking or cleanup at home :)We enjoy coming here and will likely return.Note: 18% service charge is added for holiday brunches. Well worth it.

Well for a hotel that you pay $300 a night for I expect a lot more. When we were seated the first thing we noticed was a huge rip in a chair at our table. We were looking to order dessert and some coffee the perfect ending to our day. I ordered creme brûlée and my friend ordered cheesecake. After about 15 minutes the waiter comes back to tell me that they have not creme brûlée. He continues to explain the he failed to read the outs board and he was unaware. I did not order dessert but when my friends arrived it had 2 slices of cheesecake. Both slices were warm like they has sat in a warmer window too long. Over all the impression of the restaurant was not great.

During our stay at the Cheyenne Mountain resort for a business retreat we ate in the MVR for several breakfasts and a couple of dinners. Breakfast was buffet style and was very good. They had an omelette station and the chef was turning out large omelette a with fresh ingredients and he also did waffles, not sure about pancakes. There were also lots of bacon and sausages as well as home fries and plenty of muffins, pastries and a full yogurt and fruit section. Not sure how much this costs but it was very well done. We also did dinner buffet style and these were good. The veggie lasagna was memorable and everything else was pretty good. The staff were very nice and professional. The buffet was kept well stocked and things were kept neat and clean.

This is not a restaurant in a resort. It is a nursery. PROs:*the breakfast buffet is phenomenal. 5 stars on its own. The pastries are delectable, the omelet bar is great and their bacon is crispy and good. *the staff is wonderful and nice * the views are unbeatable. Worth the exposure to the bees CONs:*there is nothing more soothing than the screams of unruly toddlers while you're trying to eat *there are many bees outside this time of year (not the establishments' fault) which sucks The servers should get two paychecks for also acting as babysitters, since parents coming here don't bother to keep their kids in check.

Not elegant, but certainly has good food. The interior of the facility is a little rough, but it does have ramps for the handicapped, but no one with a wheelchair or scooter is really going to be able to even get in the building. It's right by the road, so the outdoor seating has noise issues. The food and service are why this establishment get 5 stars.

I used to visit this restaurant when they served brunch on Sundays and it seemed really good to me and even though they no longer serve brunch, it is still a good place to have breakfast at a really affordable price, very good service and a pretty good place with a super view.

I have no idea, how this got any Good reviews as far as food. Buffet, meat was warm, and everything else was cold, eggs were dry and nasty, French toast worst I have ever eaten. Potatoes were so cold I couldn't even eat it. Coffees disgusting no matter how much sugar or cream I put in it. Water come dirty. Who ever makes the omelet didn't make it well. There were two servers one seem to do her job well. The other seem to be irritable if you ask her for anything. I came here because of the reviews, only thing I like is the view. We were going to pay, however they literally saw our table and told us because we were dissatisfied we didn't have to pay. We were grateful for that. But quality of food big NO for me.

Beautiful place for breakfast while staying at the resort. Great service. Made to order omelette and nice options like oatmeal, French toast, and a variety of breakfast meats. Spacious and quiet seating with floor to ceiling views of the mountains.
