Mountain Lyon Cafe

Great little local diner. Service is good and efficient. Food was great! Had the shrimp, spinach and cheese omelette was creative and tasty A very laid back chill vibe!

My favorite meal is breakfast. And Mountain Lyon cafe is my all time favorite breakfast place ever.The best breakfast burrito of all time!

Weird environment, confused, food was mediocre at best. Very bland, order at the front, then sit down, strange place.

This place was clean, decorated very nicely with good atmosphere. However I'm not a fan of the order at the front and then sit down thing. That's more of a burger joint, fast food type of idea, not a sit down restaurant. We found it difficult to look over the menu and order something, without holding up others. You feel pressured and don't have time to decide on something you want.The place is clean, and service was nice and attentive. However, the food needs a lot of help! The coffee was just okay, and the pancakes were dry and lacking of any flavor. I don't normally have a lot of syrup, but these needed it and soaked it up the instant you put it on. Potatoes were also kinda of dry. This, in particular, was interesting. We were told up front that they were out of hash browns and only had home fries. How is this possible, except if everything is purchased frozen and re-heated, instead of fresh cooked. As a nice restaurant, why would you buy premade potatoes instead of just shredding/cutting up some fresh potatoes yourself?Overall, even though the place is nice and service good, it doesn't make up for the bad ordering experience, and really poor quality food. Classic Silverthorne/Dillon, nary a good place to eat in this area. This place could easily get all the business, but after our experience, we would not return here.

Still delicious old school breakfast place. Highly recommend it prior or post hitting the slopes or hiking/biking, depending on the season. It will give you all the needed energy! Lots of options for everyone, plenty of parking, friendly service! Plus there is a cute store inside where you can purchase some local salsa, various sauces, etc. It's a winner!

Plenty of parking as you drive up to the Café. As you enter the establishment, you order before you are seated. It took me a while to decide and ended up ordering the Hot French Dip Sandwich with a bowl of Black Bean Chile.After ordering you take your number and sit anywhere you want. The food came out pretty fast. It was pretty cold that day so I started with the Black Bean Chile. I can't take much heat, and the chile was super spicy for my taste. But it was pretty good I think? My taste buds were numb.The French Dip was a bit dry and the dipping sauce was too salty as were the french fries. It did satisfy my appetite though.Overall, it was average. Staff were friendly and service was good. The food was a bit salty for my liking.

Friendly and fast service always at this gem of a spot. Today we had basic egg breakfast which was delicious but the star was the green chili sauce, AMAZING. The quesadilla were stuffed full and very delicious Definitely enough for two

Great Sunday Breakfast / Brunch with live music. The Blueberry pancakes and veggie omelette were heavenly! Bottomless coffee was fresh and hot. We loved it and would recommend.

The food was amazing. The live music was a nice touch and enjoyable. Definitely a good place to grab breakfast or lunch. A little weird to order before you sit down but manageable.
