Mother's Saloon

There is no better way to put this but some dive bars are sad. I'm giving this place a 3 star since it's clean. Other than that it's a sad place for Georgetown locals to do some self loathing. This is where mountain town folks in the area go to the ponder what they did wrong in life. The food is okay but if you wanna be depressed while listening to a combination of horrible trap mumble mouth hip hop and some country music from the juke box, this is your place. Even writing this review is making me depressed reminiscing on the depressing atmosphere. This place is like a scene right out of Ozarks, my name is Earl, Trailer Park Boys, or Honey Boo Boo.

Looking for a good time in Georgetown after 9:00pm? This is the spot. Place is crowded with local industry folks so naturally is a real good time.

Perfect little dive bar next to a cute little creek! The locals there are so welcoming and friendly.

The location of this was great as their patio is right next to a creek. Quite enjoyable to have water rushing while you enjoy a drink or some food. We popped in for a quick lunch and we got our food pretty quick. The philly could've had some peppers or veggies. Way too much meat.

Good selection of food and drinks. Someone mentioned needing a credit card to start a tab but I was able to pay with cash and be trusted, so who knows? Anyway I have been here twice and each time left with a full belly and the appropriate amount of drinks for the money. Good value for what you pay for, that's hard to find. Quirky ambiance with a bunch of dollar bills on the ceiling but I am quirky too so it's perfect. I'll be back, next time I'm in town!

Margaret was a fantastic bartender, who kept up with a full restaurant as the only server. The food was as you would expect from a dive bar. No complaints to be had.I was concerned reading the poor yelp reviews, but I would most certainly return.

Very kind employees and customers as well! We got the Philly cheese steak and it was delicious! Inside was definitely a cool place to hang out and then the patio was gorgeous. If we weren't driving through we would have stayed longer.

All you could ever want. Cold beer, good music, great people, cheap prices, plus a patio.

Mother's has--without question--the BEST CHEESESTEAK in all of Clear Creek County, if not Colorado, or the world. Cheesesteak, hot fries, cold beer--a great meal. I'm from NC but wouldn't miss it for the world when I'm back.
