Great little jeweler who puts their costs into their products and not their pockets beyond reasonably. Their diamonds and jewelry is the same quality and shine as the highest priced shops at a fraction of the price. The emeralds, opals, sapphires, and diamonds were absolute fire. I had 2 rings repaired by a great guy, Caleb, and browsed the shop while waiting for future purchases. When my lady is ready for a $3000+ ring I know this is the ONLY shop in town I'll be looking. Loose gems, settings, repair, cleaning, this place is top quality.

Moretti Jewelers is my go to. John is the absolute best. His prices are more than reasonable and the work is completed in house, which I love. I've had him do everything from set a diamond in a new setting to appraisals on my jewelry. Today I picked up a ring that was sized one size up, his price was fantastic and it was done in three days. The ring fits perfectly. They also use solution and steam to clean jewelry which makes my engagement ring look brand new. The last time they cleaned my ring, the noticed it was a little flattened and rounded it out for free. Honestly you can't beat their customer service. I wouldn't take my jewelry any where else.

We went in looking for a wedding band for my fiancé. John worked with him to create a custom band exactly like he had in mind. The ring was made right there in less than one week and we couldn't be happier with it. Great service and quality. I can't recommend Moretti's enough!

Came in to get two watch batteries replaced. The owner, John took both watches and stated he could get them done. After about 15 minutes he came back to the front with a damaged seal and told me whoever replaced the battery last time had broken it, but that he had one in stock that size he could replace it with. After another 20 minutes he came out with both pieces and told me they had been completed. I was charged $60 for two watch batteries being replaced that took 35 minutes. After paying he then showed me one of my watches that now had a hand that was detached and loose within the casing. He stated a watch repair shop would need to fix it. I confronted John about the damage to both watches as 1. The first watch had never had a battery replaced and the back had never been removed, thus the seal damage was from him and 2. The second watch with the broken hand was fully in tact when I went into the shop. John refused to take accountability for either item. After leaving I found both watches to have lost the stopwatch functionality. I left down $60 and with two broken watches.

Worst place to take your precious heirlooms. John lost one of my chains and at first tried to deny I even dropped it off. It took six months to replace it and when they did the chain was much lighter. I explained one of the chains was given to me from my late grandma. He did not care in fact stated that the one given to me was better. He is very rude and insensitive.

The store claims on the window that they do all all repairs in house but they actually outsource it, and then don't stand behind it. Disappointing, we prefer to give our business to small businesses.

I ordered a 16"gold wheat chain. When I looked closely at it, they had cut down a larger chain, and did a bad solder job. It had dark metal on closure hook. I had to spend more money to get a decent chain from another source.Do Not use this jeweler

John helped me make a custom wedding band for my husband, collaborating with me on the design and lost-wax casting process, then patiently listening to my many detailed requests, and even stretching the size a bit and changing the finish to satin for me after our project was completed! I cant imagine many jewelers being willing to share so much of the artistic process with a complete neophyte. My man was delighted with his unique ring, and I am so happy I found Moretti to help me with the project. Planning to bring some family pieces here in the future!

I have never been so grossly taken advantage of and heartbroken by a business. Take in my wedding ring, my husband's 4th generation family heirloom, to update the appraisal for insurance. $175, fine. They say not really worth it to do though without repairing prongs holding the stones, high cost of platinum now $600, approx. I'm not growing money trees but I feel like it's a worthwhile investment because God forbid something happen to it. 3 weeks later I call to ask when it will be finished and John nonchalantly says"oh I think that fell apart, we'll call you when its ready." In a hurry at work I took his reply as a stall tactic and nothing more. Foolish me. No, it literally fell apart. No one called and gave me options or word one. They took it upon themselves to repair at highest cost and transfer those costs to me, then told me to get my ring back the cost would be over ONE THOUSAND dollars - but 'hey, they were doing me a huge favor by eating some of that cost so it wasn't as bad as it could've been.' That was their attitude! 'Oh well, you want your ring back this is what it is now.' I was physically ill for almost 2 weeks trying to figure out how to get this money together. Special cherry on top is my two hour chat with Terri at dropoff where she basically warned me this was happening. I should've seen through the "friendliness." I also at that time said if something happened it would be okay because we were thinking of rebuilding it into a different ring that was more my style but that I couldn't get into all that right now. So...she more than knew other choices were on the table. If you know it's most likely an old ring of blended metals why did you start at the highest temp? Why didn't anyone call me and give me a choice to repair it in white gold or silver or not do anything until I could afford it? PS they also were the last ones to repair it, a new band in 2012 to resize it from a 9 to a 3 - didn't have this issue then, apparently. Final nail in the coffin, they "work with me" and we agree to 700 for final price. I say with my down payment that's only 400 more. They hear me say that's only 400 more. They "meant" on top of the initial remaining cost so instead of over 1000 I "only" had to pay an ADDITIONAL 700. Found that out when I went to finally pickup my ring. This whole thing went from $175 to costing me more than an entire paycheck. I'm so angry and financially strained this pay period as a result of this that my stomach hurts. I can't even look at the ring. It's disgusting what they did and they did it intentionally and arrogantly and I will warn anyone who is thinking about using them to steer clear.

I rate this Jewelers with no star. Horrible place, don't go. A few months ago, my husband and I took 3 family heirlooms in. John, the owner, stated he will get it done in about a week. A week later no call. When asked on the status, they stated they needed to order parts. A few weeks later no call. After a month I asked for all of it back, 2 of 3 pieces completed. At the consultation, I asked him to return all scraps as it's family heirlooms. They threw the scrap pieces away in a bag to be resold. When pushed, they promised to find it for me. No calls for one months. When I called to ask about it, John was rude and unfriendly about the mistakes and never apologize or make an effort to find the missing pieces. He claimed only one person was assigned to help me and she is out of town due to a death of a family for the next six weeks. When asked if anyone else can help me. He said no. After expressing to him that I've been patient for almost two months and how important those scraps means to me, and Have a planned trip out to of town to return those pieces back to family. He said he can't do anything and hung up on me. John was out of town, his employee was not given instructions of our request, and he too was rude when my husband when in. His helper said he would call John and call us back. No calls. I called again asked about the pieces, he informed me that John will call back in 10 mind and he too hung on me. I called again, asked him polity not to hang up on me. I was in tears. I don't know how this place stay in business. Most ppl dont care about scraps piece, but I do as it was my family heirlooms passed to me for four generations and never been alter. John and his ppl are very insensitive, rude, and unfriendly. I will never return and will not ever recommend this place. The sad part is, you can't do anything but take them to court to retrieve those scrap pieces that is more in sentimental value than cash value.
