I was just last Monday when I discovered the wonders of MVP. I came for the pickle-ball courts to let off some steam and I was left speechless by the beauty of the park as I pulled into the parking lot. There was a lush, green field full of beautiful purple flowers, trees and soft grass. Not only does this park offer an array of pristine pickle ball courts, but also a path for running or walking and plenty of opportunities for picnics and any outdoor activity you could imagine. It's a hidden gem in Colorado Springs and a perfect place to pass the time while enjoying nature.

Had a wonderfully splendid walk in the park. It was really nice out so I googled "botanical gardens" to see some nice flora. Heritage Garden came up but I guess it is part of Monument Valley Park. The park looked nice; an asphalt trail for walking/running/biking on. The garden had a few benches strewn about including a couple around the tiny duck pond. And no, I wasn't having an existential crisis I just wanted to smell the roses (c'est la vie lol). If I lived closer I'd go all the time :)

This sweet park is tucked away downtown and had a lovely trail my friend and I could walk and talk to kill a little time before dinner. There was so much in this park I didn't know existed! There's a gorgeous pool, of course a playground, a secret garden of sorts. We were only here for a little before we left, so I can't wait to come back and explore more. Have a picnic, maybe do some kite flying with the kids. Take them to the garden. Oh the adventures to be had.

This park is beautiful. You can either walk down a trail along the riverbed, walk down the riverbed, or exercise at the park along it. Did I mention that it has a parking lot as well as a garden area where you can smell thsoe beautiful flowers? It is not far from the main downtown Colorado area either. It is a very nice and peaceful area that is great to hit after a long day of work to remove stress. I really like hearing and seeing the sound of water here reminding me that Colorado springs goes through a beautiful mountainside. There are some homeless people that hang out here but they are peaceful and do not accost you. The park area also has lots of grass and a playground so you can take kids, or even have a picnic.

Agreeing with previous reviews - these are not the correct pictures. Instead, picture a city park with a creek and running/biking trail, lush green grass, trees, play areas, and a pool. My school took the kids here for a day of fun during summer program, and we all had a blast at the pool. The lifeguards helped everyone out with a swim test at the start of our time, so some kids were able to access the deep end. They also have a diving board and some fun water slides! We also enjoyed the playground before the pool opened. The play equipment is up to date, and there's a nice amount of shade for hot summer days!

Unfortunately this park was full of homeless people which is sad. As a woman just trying to go walk with my dog, had to leave because the people were scary and walking up asking if I wanted drugs or anything else. Lots of debris and garbage and people living in broken cars/living on the grounds. Gov't should help them.

Such a beautiful park!! The pond needs a bit of cleaning but nothing to serious. The garden was like a fairyland!! So beautiful! One of my favorite parks and it's in downtown too, so it has a great view! Very gorgeous! Very peaceful and relaxing.

We went here over the weekend. It was stunning. Valley of the gods was so peaceful. I can't Wait to go back. Going in November is the best time to go. Less tourists. We saw maybe 4 cars. The weather was about 45-50 degrees. It definitely is a must see.

The pictures on this site are not correct for this park. It is a small park in between the interstate and a residential area. It is nice to walk around and sit at, but there is not much to do there. I've seen a lot of photographers there with families taking pictures. There are also a lot of geese and ducks. So watch out for them.

Started an out and back 14 mi. run from here on 3.26.16. It was very snowy and beautiful. Plenty of twists and turns and I believe the trail was Santa fe trail Colorado springs.
