We were looking around for Learn to Skate programs and looked into Monument Ice Rinks. Their program seemed to allow my child to get the most ice time, which is important to me as I believe in full immersion.I am confident we made the right choice. The program is flexible and allows my child to advance at her own pace. At 3 years old, she passed her Snowplow Sam 1 in just 5 weeks, and after 8 total weeks of skating, is almost done with Snowplow Sam 2.The teachers are friendly, approachable and helpful. The structure of the classes is a nice balance between rigid classes and fostered self-exploration.I'd highly recommend this rink to anyone wanting to learn to skate.

They advertised public skating today - a 2:30 time. We show up with our guests visiting from WA (2 kids excited to ice skate) only to learn they have CANCELLED the public skate to accommodate a hockey game. This represents everything that's wrong with our community and beyond - selfishness, lack of customer service, no concept of whats right and wrong. Screw you Monument Ice Rink.

This review goes directly to The ice skating director Robyn. I took my 8 year old daughter here on a Sunday. I had talked to Robyn a few days before and was asking her about getting my daughter Ava into it. My daughter has been asking for a while now and since we live in GlenEagle this place is 3 miles from the house. So I get there and the staff greeted me at front. They got her skates and we were off to a so called "lesson". This was a complete joke as I watched roughly 16 kids including my daughter skate around with about 7 instructors just all talking to each other on the ice and not paying one once off attention to these kids. Not once in this hour long so called lesson did one instructor say hello, or anything to my daughter. Not one instructor there explained and showed her how to stop or anything! Also, as I am taking video of my daughter, Robyn the ice skating director walks up to me and says " you can't videotape your child". Ok, how about maybe a hello or welcome? This was my first time here and this is her comment to me. I also asked Robyn a question about the class because I was concerned it was extremely unorganized. Her response was that she had 40 something years of skating experience and that she knew how to teach. Here is a news flash for you Robyn. You might know how to skate but that means nothing if you are this unorganized. Just a very rude person and honestly she ruined the experience to where I will never take my girl back here.

Great local ice rink. Two sheets of ice. Great staff. Home of 7K international Figure skating academy, Colorado Rampage Ice Hockey. Jason Brown home rink. The staff took care of all our needs and we would recommend it to anyone. Recently came under new management that is consistently improving the place. Learn to skate and learn to play hockey programs.

Great place to come for public skating and was not crowded at all. The music did stop though and never turned back on which was unfortunate. I wish the lobby place was bigger as well though as that gets pretty crowded.

Robyn Petroskey at Monument Ice is terrific! She is the coach on Wed and Fri at open skate Parent at 10 am! Yes, a coach is available for all skaters for 30 minutes! Robyn has the skills and warm teaching style for all your skating needs. Whether you are 70 (like me and haven't been on skates for 30 years) or 7 (like my grandson on his first day) Robyn will coach you and get you moving, skating and having FUN!

We live in Parker, Colorado and drive aaaaall the way to Monument to skate. They do a good job of juggling ice time and the learn to skate program can't be beat. You get a half hour lesson and the coaches actually STAY on the ice and skate around during practice ice which is the next half hour, interacting with your kids and helping them out! My daughter is at an intermediate level so being able to have ice time is so important. It's a really good team approach. All of the coaches are phenomenal! They are experienced and make it fun at the same time!

This is a great place to have a birthday party! My son and his friends had a blast. They skated for about 90 minutes. Then we went into the party room for snacks and cake. The party rooms are good sized for large groups of about 25 people. We had a great view of the ice rink as well. The kids enjoyed watching the hockey players from up there. His friends want to have their parties there, too!
