One of the best food/dinner options in River Run Village in Keystone. We arrived early (prior to 5pm) for dinner and got seated immediately. The "Happy Hour" at the tables is $1 off a glass of wine, which is not a good happy hour at ALL when you get a $23 large pour. Not a deal. Our food was very very good! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and trendy. The steak was 10/10 and Mediterranean salad was 10/10. Wish they would bring bread for the price point but overall we had a great meal.

I really don't like giving reviews like this but it has to be done. On our first night in Keystone, we stopped by Montezuma Roadhouse for dinner. One of the perks of this restaurant is that it's open late by Keystone standards. It's a little hard to find because it's tucked away but we found street parking close by and then walked over. The restaurant also looks great with a nice cabin feel. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating and space. After ordering a beer, I went with their burger and fries. The burger itself was solid as it's both a burger patty and short rib on top which made for a nice combo. While the fries were plentiful, we're talking a generous portion, they were stale and lifeless. They tasted worse than frozen fries that you bake in the oven. Here's where things got weird. We had a group of six people. Once we finished our meals, we asked for separate checks. This became an epic struggle. Our waiter could not get our bills right despite us telling him what we each ordered. He messed up several times. It took him forever to come back when he would attempt to print out our bills. He messed up on another table's bill too. He told us that we should have told him we would be doing separate bills when we were seated in a scolding manner. It took around 45 minutes for us to actually pay. I had to get my own to-go box because he was so stressed from this whole ordeal that he forgot. At the end of the day, our waiter clearly needs some training. It ruined our experience and we couldn't believe something so simple became so complicated. A lot of time was wasted. Maybe it was an off night for him, who knows.

We visited Montezuma with our family in January. The interior was very beautiful, and we were seated right by the fireplace, which made it very cozy. The staff was very polite and friendly. My wife and I ordered the Colorado bison steak and regretted it. The meat was impossible to chew, though I believe this is due to the nature of the meat itself and not the chef's fault. However, if the meat is inherently this tough and cannot be prepared in a way that makes it enjoyable, then why serve it at all? At the very least, guests should be warned that the meat is very tough. As for the price, it's above average, as expected at ski resorts.

What a flop! My brother and I wanted to grab a nice meal in the village and it was one of the few places open late. We walked in and it was relatively empty so we were seated immediately. The restaurant was hot and stuffy, even without many customers. Hungry, we ordered quickly, but it took almost an hour for the food to come. We both got steaks that saved this review from being a one star. The sides were cold and bland, service was slow and unfriendly, and the meal was overpriced - even for a slope side dinner. Fortunately, the steaks were well cooked and good cuts of meat. We both left very dissatisfied and my brother noted that the money would have been better spent at a casino.

This was better than expected for a ski village steakhouse. The lemon chicken, wedge salad, sirloin, kids steak, kids salmon, and the chocolate cake were all excellent. The fireplace created a great atmosphere and service was friendly.

Amazing food ! Great atmosphere good vibe !! Steak was cooked to perfection! Lemon orzo and blackened shrimp was perfect light and refreshing ! Good pricing given the location at a ski resort . We were NOT rushed out and a pleasant time while the kids night skied ! Our server was on top of everything ! Water on table fast drink service and outstanding Brussels sprouts. Would happily come back here again !! Only drawback I saw was the 20 steps to the basement bathroom . Not at all handicapped accessible.

Not running back for a second visit anytime soon. My ribeye was over cooked, medium rare looked and tasted more like medium well. Barely ate half of this steak and while I hate to waste food, the cooking and flavor was so bad I couldn't force myself to finish my steak. Service was good, while we had a group of 7 l, Sammy did her best in accommodating our needs. Thanks Sammy!Montezuma can best be compared to Texas Roadhouse, Cattleman's, or Black Angus. If you're from California then you'll know what I'm referencing. The interior is small, so if you have a big group I would recommend that you call and make a reservation. For our group we waiting for almost an hour.

Came here on a Saturday night in mid September and Keystone village is a ghost town when it's not ski season. Luckily this place was open. Needless to say we were seated right away. The service was really good. Our waitress was super attentive but it could've been because no one else was there? But she seemed so nice so probably would be the same service in the busy ski season. I loved my steak French dip hamburger, it had a patty plus beef chunks and dipped in aus jus it was delicious! My friend got the t bone steak medium done and it was unexpectedly chewier than I most steaks I get at other steak houses. Also could've had more flavor. Prices weren't bad considering the area. I go to Keystone a lot for snowboarding so I'll try this place out again.

Went for HH, got a few drinks and some food. Asked for the bill and noticed we didn't get charged for one drink. Figured it was on purpose because the service was somehow both slow and frantic all at the same time, figured they decided to hook us up for the inconvenience. Nope, the woman took my card and came back and said "I had to add that other drink" and set down my credit card receipt, which was for more than the bill I was given. I'm sorry but that is not right, you don't give a bill for one amount and charge more without first saying something. I'm in the area often and will not be back for this reason.

Waited an hour for an allergic reaction. We waited a while which we didn't mind since we got a spot at the bar. Once we got sat I told our server my allergy and asked if it was possible to accommodate it. She said yes but less than 30 minutes we had to go because I was breaking out into hives.
