We definitely want to come back to tour the house. I think everything was organized so well and love the experience that I was step back in time to the early 1900's. Worth the trip!

Acova LodgeWhat a fun venue. Had to go in there in December to a friends celebration of life lunch. It sits behind the original Molly Brown House. I used to go there years ago for tours and other things that they would offer for me to take my daughter.I wasn't excited for the reason I had to go there, but I was glad to have gone. The place is cute, not sure how many people it will hold, I'm thinking a couple hundred. They had a four piece band playing with some soft music, a big beautiful fireplace, the place was decorated well and the food was great.I WOULD consider having a event at this place.

My daughter's wedding at the Molly Brown Summer House was an absolute dream come true. Mo-Mo and her capable and caring staff are a delight to work with. The event was seamless; if there were any issues, we were blissfully unaware. Mo-Mo and her staff interacted efficiently with the other vendors Canon Catering and My DJ and Company. We received only compliments from our guests. I am grateful for Mo-Mo's and Terry's commitment to the bride and groom. They are extremely responsive to questions and requests and even provided answers to general wedding etiquette questions. They truly connected with us at a personal level. The grounds are a perfect place for a wedding with tall trees and gardens, a rustic setting with a Victorian farmhouse once owned by the Unsinkable Molly Brown herself. The spacious pavilion met all the needs of our 140 guests. The Molly Brown Summer House is a perfect venue for a "dream come true" wedding!

Loved this historic figure's home. Beautiful and great history of how this family and lady brought herself up in society through knowledge and philanthropy. Thank you all for caring to let the public into this beautiful home and saved so much in the process. Especially for a woman whom often are not deemed worthy. I'd highly recommend Juliette Gordon Low's in Savannah and Louisa May Alcott (outside of Boston) next to Henry David Thoreau's (friend) and Ralph Waldo Emerson (friend). The best home museums I have seen. John Adams retirement home is nearby as well. If you love historic homes, don't miss these.

We had my son's and daughter-in-laws wedding here this past weekend and I cannot say enough about how terrific everything was! Momo and her team knocked it out of the park! They are professional and so easy to work with. We relied on Momo for advice and suggestions, she was our own personal wedding planner! She never steered us wrong and our Bride ( and the rest of us ) were able to just enjoy the day and not worry about anything. The food they prepared was GREAT!! The service was great!! The entire day went off without a hitch and my son and his new wife couldn't have been happier! It was perfect. If you are looking at venues, planning a wedding, I HIGHLY recommend that you make an appt and see Momo. They will make sure your day is just how you want it!

What a beautiful and interesting place. I went with a group for a tour of the house and grounds and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The tour guide, Momo, was fabulous and her knowledge of the house and it's history is impressive and interesting. A wonderful outing for any small group (I believe the max is 10 because of the size of the rooms in the house).

I held my retirement party for 150 people in the pavilion next to the Summer House. MoMo Shearer handled all the details, coordinated with the caterer and the deejay, created the centerpieces, and was a joy to work with. She even made sure to save parking for some of my guests who needed assistance. I only had to send out invitations and enjoy the evening. What a welcoming and gracious atmosphere she created. And all within my budget! I highly recommend this venue.

I had my wedding and reception at this location at the end of last month. I bought into the wedding package they had, which included catering, DJ, venue, tables, lines... basically everything except for us. From the first tour we did, we knew that this is where we wanted to get married. Tracy was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and made us so comfortable that we booked it that day (no high pressure sale or anything like that though). As the months leading up to the wedding came and went, I emailed Tracy and Momo many times with many questions and they were always quick to answer me. And in our meetings, Momo would always have an idea or something that I could use that they already had. It was amazing. Then the day of. Middle of summer and the threat of rain, then something wrong with the sewer system threatened my chances of that perfect day. But Momo took care of it all, and Tracy made a perfect prime rib. The ceremony was perfect, the venue was amazing and we had a great time. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! You can tell the employees care about the place, and it shows in their work. The work they all put in for me was spectacular and made everything feel so special.
