Mo Burrito

Do you remember when Chipotle was good and there weren't hundreds of videos from YouTubers comparing the weight of burritos?Well, if not you should visit Mo Burrito. For $16 you can get a full burrito bowl with guac and all the veggies. I can't even get 4 items from Taco Bell for that amount of money. Staff is super friendly, always happy to see you, food feels pretty healthy overall.

Went here for a happy hour when we got to Salida - what a great HH! They had BOGO draft beers (not too many options on draft - I think six - but some good local ones) and our friends got margaritas. We weren't that hungry so only got an appetizer of chips and guacamole, which tasted very fresh. Service was OK - everyone was nice but it was SLOW. Surprised how quiet it was for 5PM on a Friday? It was snowy so people probably weren't out and about. Would definitely come back for a burrito - the restaurant had a lot of seating and seems like it'd be a great hangout spot in the summer. Prime location, was walkable to our Airbnb downtown!

I always stop to eat here when Im traveling through because i l9ve this place so im extremely love it. This time I am very disappointed. We gotNJ I70 the bowl and while the girl was adding the ingredients, I asked for the salsa on the side as I have stomach issues. She didn't acknowledge it and as soon as I saw her do it, I reminded her that I needed it on the side. She just looked at me and asked if I wanted anything else on my bowl. WHAT!!!! Then they over charged me. I started to address it when I realized that I would never get anywhere. **** this was several months ago but I've been really sick and had no chance to post until now.

I was so happy to have found Mo Burrito during the work week as it was a great spot to grab an amazing lunch and work for a bit. The fish burrito takes a bit to make because it is fried fresh, which I appreciate. They have a make your own burrito/bowl similar to Chipotle but so much better! The staff were friendly and they have a good happy hour deal during the day. I will certainly be back when I am in Salida!

Wow! This is an (in my opinion) Chipotle of Salida and it was amazing - even better. My boyfriend got a burrito and although wasn't as big as Chipotle's , was very good and still so filling. I got a bowl and it was delicious. We got through the line quickly and got to eat outside with a view. We actually ate here twice in our week-long stay. Best of all, it didn't cost an arm and a leg!

Not what I expected. Was there early Saturday morning. Hand a choice of 3 pre made burritos.... Seemed odd to me. Was expecting freshly made food to order. Granted, it was early. Staff, not the friendliest.I would probably go somewhere else for breakfast next time I'm in Salida..

Gone wayyyy downhill since last time. This place used to be great and reasonably priced. I visited today and paid $15 for nachos and was severely skimped. When I asked for more, I got a nasty look and a poor excuse for what should've been provided the first time (pretty sure it was the owner behind the counter too). These guys built a reputation on good food for a good price. Food is still good but I won't be back anytime soon after paying double for 1/2

Ok these burritos are REALLY good. It has a qdoba/chipotle vibe where you can build your own burrito and with fresh delicious ingredients. I got a veggie burrito which was huge and the perfect thing to satisfy my hunger. Be careful of the hot salsa because it is very hot!!! Didn't stop me from devouring the burrito followed by chips and guacamole. Restaurant itself is pretty big and there's a bar area too! I noticed that they also serve margaritas and they have an outdoor patio. Definitely worth checking out if you love burritos.

I love simple joints like this.It's Chipotle-esque but locally owned, LGBTQ friendly, and has tons of seating and good vibes.Food is good too! Burritos will run you around $10 and kid meals around $5. Can get some upgrades like CA style (added French fries inside which sounds amazing, but being from LA myself, not sure how that makes it CA style since we don't do this in LA). I'm here for it though! Definitely skip the main drag and turn in for a little better food and local support.

While it seems the food is made fresh and the flavors aren't bad...the portion size was terribly small...I had chicken and would guess there was a mere 1/4 cup of meat in my dish. Perhaps even more disheartening is the service. All 3 folks behind the counter on a peak Friday lunch hour, were sour, surly, slow, and just dang unpleasant. Not a smile amongst them.With so many options to choose from in Salida, we will not be returning here for awhile. We are hopeful the owners address the staff attitude toward customer service so we can try again and support this locally owned business.
