We absolutely love Miele Farms! My wife and I moved to Colorado Springs a little over 2 years ago and we're under the common misconception that meat we bought at Safeway, etc was the way to go. Having lived in the suburbs on the west coast, that's just what we all did. When I found out that it is not only possible to buy meat (beer, hog, etc) fresh from a farm but that it is literally 10x better than the supermarket we made the switch permanently. Furthermore, its equal to or better (cooked at home) than nearly any of my favorite restaurants. On top of that, the price per pound for Grass-fed beef and hog is better than comparable to any stores you find it in.Honestly, I have a hard time eating out now because it's just that good. If you add anything beyond salt and pepper to the steaks or burgers, you run the risk of ruining it. I highly suggest giving Miele Farms a shot. You won't be disappointed. So far we've bought 1/4 cow and a half of hog and love it. Next is lamb Thanks Julie,Greg and Honey

We learned about this farm close by our place in late March this year and bought 3-dozen fresh farm eggs from them, which were good with a few bad ones in the 3 boxes. They charge $5.00 per dozen. Mid July relatives visited us so again we bought another 3 dozen, but this time around there were more than 5 bad eggs in just one carton and 7 in another one. We contacted them and asked if they refrigerated the eggs or if they were left outside, they said that they refrigerated them sometimes or that they were left in the coop for the day if busy; they offered to refund our money and a $5.00 credit we had with them, or give us 3 dozen for free. We said we wanted the eggs because the good ones are delicious! We were not able to agree on a day and time for drop off so we messaged them asking for our credit back and telling them we'd bought eggs from someone else. They messaged back and dropped off 2 dozen free, our $5.00 dollar credit and refunded $5.00 dollars, 20 minutes after our message. In the 2-dozen free eggs they dropped off we had 5 bad eggs. We won't buy eggs from them again. This has been our experience with this farm.
