It's nothing crazy. If you take the gondola up, it's just right there. It smelled INCREDIBLE. I got a Caesar salad because I wanted something light. You get a lot! I couldn't finish it. My husband got a cheeseburger and he said it was pretty good. The folks behind the counter were very nice. It's a great and easy. Nothing complicated.

I mean. Not a lot of choices when it comes to eating on the mountain. I love to come up here and tuck into a corner and read while hubby skis. VERY pricey. Paid $17 for a salad and $14 for a small bowl of chili and $12 for a beer. Extremely high. You'd think after paying those prices you could sit where you wanted but I was asked to move to a different part of the restaurant so they could close up. I'm sorry but it's not closing time yet and I didn't appreciate being asked to move all my stuff. We spend so much money here so yeah. Would hope for better treatment. Ambiance is meh. Like a big cafeteria.

Sean at the front bar is fantastic! Very friendly and personable, that's what service is all about. Ordered a burger at the buffet and it was pretty good! Vail resorts has been a hider miss with service. And it's very refreshing to get a guy like sean to serve you.

Only good part of this restaurant is the location. On mountain and only accessible via gondola. You sit between the mountains and enjoy your lunch which is not so tasty. Food taste below average and highly overpriced. Wok fried rice was having a pungent smell and didn't felt like woked even. Soup was nice but for $13. Still you can eat since options are plenty and view of mountains is mesmerizing.

We skied Vail for 3 days and went to mid Vail three times. It was centrally located on the hill and we ended up eating there 3 times. During COVID they require reservations but we talked into the bar area around 11:30am and were able to get a table. Noticed all the reservations were filled up all 3 days but not all the tables were occupied. Little frustrating. The selection wasn't huge but we enjoyed all the food. The Grain salad was very good but I also liked the Ramen noodles on a cold day. One day they provided a DJ for outdoor dining. It was sunny all three days so sitting outside was a good option.

Stopped here for a quick lunch before hitting the slopes again. The views were amazing, as you'd expect with most slope-side fare. I ordered the chili and my husband just got a side of seasoned fries. The fries were decent, actually, definitely a cut above what you'd expect from generic ski resort food. The chili was good overall and I really like that they topped it off with green onions as well. Only complaints: the chili was luke warm at best and the food was pretty pricey. I generally expect that for resort food, but for chili, fries, and a fountain drink, it ended up being $25 or so even with the EPIC pass discount. I think next time, I'd probably opt for Two Elk as it seemed the food there was a cut above what we had at Mid Vail. Also, of note, you need a reservation to dine in the downstairs area and even the upper level was fairly full when we arrived. Probably best to make a reservation, especially if you're coming with a large party!

Food choices are fries, chicken fingers with fries, a miserable looking fried chicken sandwich, soup or a pre-packaged salad. I understand they had a limited menu due to covid, but it's time they serve real food. Cocktails come in a can. Beer options are Stella and Bud Light. Not even any beer from Vail Brewing Co. Go to Beaver Creek to ski and have a few more lunch options.

vail is beautiful and we had the most amazing day skiing! this restaurant was seated on the mountain making it very easily accessible for a lunch stop! although..quite pricy for cafeteria style food that was good but hard to digest the cost.

Place is garbage. Management is trash and the place smells like a garbage bin mixed with four day old fish sticks.
