Booked a room on the website for The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, paid full rate of $180, and made a mistake during the process and picked the WRONG DATE. When I arrived they said I did not have a reservation. I showed them the confirmation email, and it did indeed show a date the previous Monday (which the hotel was not full on, so they lost NO revenue because of my accidental no show). But my bad. I asked if that date could be honored for today without further charge, and the front desk staff said NO. They also said I would have to contact CORPORATE Customer Care by phone. So we got a room at the hotel that night anyway, and I made the call to the home office right there and then in their lobby, and they said they would get back with me in a few weeks with a resolution. A few weeks passed, and the response I got was "contact the hotel." I responded to corporate and told them they sent me to YOU. You see the pattern... I then tried for 2 days to reach the manager of the hotel with no response to voicemails I left.So I called CORPORATE again and they spent a half hour on hold, before I was told they would not be able to help me, to call the hotel management (again, a pattern). I asked them if they wanted to keep me as a Wyndham customer. If so, they could add points to my Rewards account to allow me to stay at a future date without charge. That was a no also. Don't think other situations have not been resolved like that, it happens ALL THE TIME. When I asked to speak to a manager at CORPORATE, I was told NO repeatedly. Not only am I done with this hotel, I am done with this chain. And this review will be all over Social Media and the review sites.Goodbye Wyndham, Super 8, Days Inn, Microtel, La Quinta, Howard Johnsons, and ALL the rest. All over a $180 mistake they could have easily fixed at the desk that Sunday night.

Business travelers, or folks that need reliable internet access, avoid this place. The property is new and nice, but the internet is effectively unusable. Do not expect to have any consistent access to get any work done, much less just using it for personal purposes.

Clean but very disappointed. They offer breakfast but the mini muffins were dry and tasted stale. In the week I stayed, not once did they offer fresh bagels. The bagels were hard as a rock and not edible. They also offered over ripe bananas and Cuties. On my fifth day, housekeeping did not knock and when he realized I was in there, he just closed the door. During my stay, toiletries were not replaced when needed and I would have to visit the desk to request them. They also did not change the sheets. For the price, I won't stay there again.

Be careful with your credit card! I was charged for a stay that I did not reserve a room for. Keep an eye on your bank statement. The people working there are shady. I tried to get resolution through the hotel manager and he was useless and defensive. I explained I did not make the reservation and was told that it was made on-line and he could not do anything about it. I was home over a thousand miles away and had no plans to be there. I am working through my bank to bring fraud charges against the hotel.

I came to Microtel with the hope that their ads and comments were truthful. The service and customer service was pathetic. The bathtub was not clean from the beginning to end of the stay. The shower was low pressure and the drain did not release the water. The toilet seat was broken and the chair was a swivel-type that threw you off as you sat down! Did they fix anything? Of course not. They are one of 2 hotels in town. The breakfast was gone before you got to it. If you got any, it is the cheapest low grade non food they could provide. They had no maintenance. The mgr-Shawn of said maintenance was gone for 2 weeks. The sign by the elevator says 'SAFETY FIRST!' Right! It was noisy and dirty. They did nothing to honor the lies they put online to get people in. Do not stay here not even as a last resort which was my case. It would be better to sleep in your SUV or van. The health department might like to see this place.
