While close in proximity to Denver, this trail is too close to the highway. For much of the trail, you can hear the traffic and even see the road from the hike. The grooming of the trail is well maintained, and there are a lot of pockets of Aspen, which is nice for the fall. It is a popular hike, so get there early if you want parking. There's a cute picnic area. It would be shaded for the most part due to the surrounding trees. The trail is mostly uphill, not crazy steep, but not easy. There's a small loop, so this one's good for hikers getting back into shape or families. You can continue on a larger loop if you like. The junctions are clearly marked with signs. I advise you take a look at the map to keep from going on the wrong path. We will not likely be back for a while.

Nice and easy trail right off the highway and is super easy to find. Lots of parking too. Bathrooms are located not too far up the trail where there are also picnic tables. We went on a great day for snowshoeing although it was quite windy. Luckily once when you get up in the trees it's not windy anymore. Snow condition were pretty good but there were some muddy spots since it was sunny. Overall recommend as a nice and not difficult walk/hike in this area.

Fun easy-moderate hikes in this park! The trails provide tons of shade and once you're in the park you can't even hear the highway very much. The bathrooms are super clean as well!

If you are looking for a relaxing but moderately challenging trail, then the Meyer Ranch Park Trail is what you are looking for. This heavily shaded trail is filled with native vegetation to fill your eyes with wonder. Depending on the time of year that you go, you will enjoy wild flowers or the changing leaves of the Aspens. Although it is heavily traveled, I still found it secluded enough to get my meditation in.

This trail is 35min from Denver so that's why we tried it out. It's incredibly easy even for a child so it's mostly just a leisurely nature hike. If you do the longest trail up the mountain it's only about 4mi so we got done with it under an hour (at slow-moderate pace). The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there's no real destination at the top of the mountain where you get a grand viewing spot. It just kind of does a lip near the top that is still covered by tree line. It is still lovely and beautiful.Note: it's right off the highway so at first it's a little loud but you forget about it quickly when you hike and noise gets quieter.*parking free, and clean toilets when you walk up about 5 min on the foothill.

It's not a long hike nor is it hard but it's a beautiful one. The hike is pretty much in the evergreens. For those who want quiet and fresh air, this is a good one. Good hike for kids.

Great hike, was able to do the parking lot to sunny aspen trail loop with 2 kiddos, one in a chariot and other in a hiking backpack. Some steep spots for the chariot but doable.
