I came in really not expecting much but left pleasantly surprised. I went on a Tuesday afternoon during their happy hour. It was Taco Tuesday so I got 3 of their tacos. Where some places offer you too little meat, this was the opposite, you can easily make 2 tacos out of one! Their spicy margarita was delicious and I also need to make a special shoutout to their Churro desert, they were soo good! Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area, especially during their happy hour!

The service was acceptable, but a staff member constantly pacing between tables created an uneasy atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly, and the manager, though initially making an overconfident remark about the food, adjusted his attitude after I mentioned my experience with high-end cuisine. The restaurant has a touch of stylish and sophisticated ambiance, but the food was disappointing--ranging from bland to outright spoiled. My husband had the shrimp tacos, which he found decent, but my risotto was inedible. When I pointed this out, the manager offered to prepare something else, but I declined. In 25 years of dining in the U.S., I had never encountered spoiled food in a restaurant, regardless of its rating.Hoping to cleanse my palate, I ordered a tres leches cake, which was passable. The restaurant did not charge for the cake or the risotto, but unfortunately, I will not be returning. The only truly outstanding aspect was the live music. This place desperately needs a skilled chef.

Horrible service, only 2 tables of people in the bar area. First table had four people, second table had two, then us, table of two. This was at 5pm. Took our server a long time (Sebastian) to wait on us, finally was able to put in our drink and app order, took over 10 minutes to get our drinks. He was the bar tender and waiter, however, we all didn't come in at the same time. Several employees standing around doing absolutely nothing, so how they weren't helping out was odd. The best is we saw two employees exit the kitchen eating chips! I asked one of the employees where the bathroom was and she literally replied, I'm sorry, I just ate a mouth full of chips, covered her mouth then after done chewing, told me where the bathroom was. Secondly, the food was subpar, should've known being in a suburb. The drinks are ok as well. The spicy habanero marg was not spicy, the pisco sour was nothing like you'd find in Peru. Literally don't waste your money here. We were going to get another drink, but since the service was absolute junk, we didn't and left a tip accompanying the service. Two hours for simple apps and a couple of drinks. Unacceptable at best. Even Latin America has better service! They should take note!

I don't venture to the suburbs much, but made an exception since this the same chef that owns the place on the lake down the parking lot from here. I had a feeling it would be worth the drive from downtown Denver. I'm so glad I tried this place, and I'm sure the local residents will appreciate Latin cuisine in their neighborhood. I was blown away by the interior decor and the atmosphere, something new and diffident to the neighborhood. The service was outstanding and very welcoming. The food was amazing too. We had a verbiage of dishes, all being delicious. We had several dishes including Pollo Pastor Tlayudas (Original Mexican Pizza) and Paula Dinner for Two, both highly recommended. I need to go back now that I thought about this place writing this belated review.

Is this authentic Mexican food? No! But is it still delicious and hits the spot, yes!! I came here for the first time and was impressed with the food. Everything came out quickly and each dish was tasty. I didn't love their guacamole, it tasted more like the frozen guacamole from Costco, but the smoky chipotle salsa was a must try!!! The elote I would also highly highly recommend. The restaurant was spacious, they accept reservations and everyone who helped us was friendly and attentive.

Had lunch at Mesa Latin and boy this was a total hit! Very excited to give the dips and chip a try since we don't have a ton of black bean dip options in Colorado. These were great! Though admittedly the star were the chips in the situation, very fresh and perfect amount of salt. The flautas were super crispy and had great flavor with the toppings and black beans. The Peruvian brick chicken takes 25 minutes but IT WAS WORTH IT! The chicken was so nicely blackened and tasted great. The patatas bravas on the side were so tasty with a nice smoke flavor. Wait staff was very nice and we had someone stopping at our table to check in regularly, not just our waiter. Overall a great option if you're in Littleton!

I have been here several times and have tried many different dishes. My favorite are the enchiladas. My second favorite are the mahi mahi tacos. The service here is very good. The servers are constantly checking on the guests to make sure they are taken care of. Next time I'm here I'll take pics to post on reviews

The perfect combo of neighborhood Latin Mexican with zero pretension...just friendly, welcoming vibes all around. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu. What I ordered: Mesa ceviche (with coconut milk!), chicken nachos (stacked!), chile relleno, Spanish risotto and shrimp, tres leches horchata cake, churros. For drinks: mango chamoyada margarita, Jamaica (hibiscus), and a house marg.Best bites: Honestly, everything was fantastic, but a few stood out: * Chicken nachos: PSA! nachos should always be stacked and always have queso (none of that shredded cheese). These hit both marks and were so so so delicious. * Chile relleno: I wasn't a big fan of chile rellenos growing up (my mom loved making them), but these were amazing! I'd totally order them again (sorry, mom!), and they're only $12 on Thursdays! * Spanish risotto and shrimp: I'd never had Spanish risotto, so it was exciting to try something familiar with a different flavor profile. The risotto was great, but the shrimp? Grilled to perfection! * Horchata tres leches cake: It's gluten-free, and I found that out after I ate it because I couldn't tell! The flavor was incredible and it is definitely in my top 3 tres leches cakes ever.

I'm from out of town and my family recommended this place. We went there for dinner and were able to make happy hour. I got the mango margarita which was delicious! We split the dip flight and some queso. The ranchero salsa, salsa verde, guac, and queso were all super good. For my meal, I got birria tacos and esquites - both great. Service was kind and quick. The place was busy but it didn't detract from the time we had!

We have been watching Mesa since it opened with curiosity...being big Mexican Food fans..." How is a Latin food joint different or better?"...and Saturday was our night to find out! The parking lot was fuller than usual, so that was a good sign..We entered, and we're promptly seated. The waitress was pleasant and took our drink orders...and answered questions. I ordered a Margherita and my girl ordered a Mojito. The mojito size was ample, but the mint wasn't muddled like we it should have been, and she ended up jabbing it several times with her straw to coax the mint flavor out. The Jamaican Margarita was tasty, but the glass was tiny and not nearly full. NOT a $14.00 drink- worth!....The Tlayudas (Mexican Pizza) was the big winner and we ended up bringing some home. The Paella was bland and lacked the flavor explosion we were looking for. Salt helped, but We didn't finish it, and didn't request a take home box. The final (or first) straw for us was the $10.00 "Salsa Flight"....Maybe they are trying to differentiate themselves from the Mexican Restaurant scene, by charging $10.00 for a fancy chips and Salsa sampler, but we aren't buying it...It doesn't provide a welcoming feel to the relatively unknown Latin food scene.
