Merrifield Homestead Cabins & Hot Springs

My husband and I spent 4 days here. We planned to go into Buena Vista for lunches, however once we arrived we didn't want to leave. Good thing we brought enough food and snacks. We spent hours in the private hot pools, walking the creek, watching wildlife and just relaxing.

Beautiful cabin! From the moment you enter you enjoy the decor the ambience and the amenities!There are currently only 2 cabins next to each other, each cabin sleeps 8 people. 2 bedrooms with king size beds and two queen size sofa beds. There are lots if towels, pillows and sheets. The kitchen has everything you may need to cook. Coffee maker for both K cup or regular brew. There is something to do for everyone, from boards games to children's books and crayons.Each section of the cabin has separate speakers for music which is controlled by the Ipad in the room. Definitely pet friendly since I saw dog treats on the counter.There is a natural hot spring pool on the deck with lots of seating area.We stayed for 3 days there while we went kayaking and for sure our accommodations were fabulous. I would definitely book this place again.

Super fun. Loved the late check out at 1pm. Arrived late and didnt know what we were getting into. The rooms and hot springs were clean. The springs were awesome and it was so cool that they are open 24 hrs for guests. The coy fish ponds kind of freaked me out though....

Horrible customer service and person (Beige-owner)! They quoted 1 price$1306.74, charged me a deposit $600.00 and then charged me over the full price they originally quoted, $1393.33. When I reached out to them to get it corrected the lady (Beige) was extremely rude, agressive and defensive. She had no record of the deposit and they argued about the original price I was quoted even though I had it in email from her. They did refund the overcharge of $686.59 but it was a hassle and completely unprofessional. There is no central air, only 1 ceiling fan in the kitchen and it gets very hot and stuffy in the house. Also there is no cell signal in the cabin and the wifi did not work either. One positive was dealing with Brian who was actually nice and tried to resolve the issue, even came over and reset the router to try and get us wifi. I will never stay here again and warn everyone against it. Mt Princeton or Cottonwood are better options.

We stayed here for 2 nights with 10 people a 4 month old and 2 dogs. We had a small wedding up the road at the lake and these cabins were perfect for our stay. The staff really made sure to make it special for us. I can't wait to stay again!
