Absolutely horrible customer service. Avoid at all costs. I purchased four kazoos for my children. Upon receiving hers my little four year old came up to me crying because hers was not producing the same sound as the others. Upon my testing and comparing it to the sound of the others it was definitely defective. I returned to the store that same day and played the defective kazoo along with one of the others I had purchased for the store manager. She promptly and rudely told me it is still working and that there was nothing she could do for me. She was very rude, obnoxious and unwilling to help. Stating it would be a health violation to exchange the defective one for a new one because she could not resell it to someone else, to which I responded to ask her why on earth would she even entertain the idea of reselling a defective item to someone else begin with?She had said she could sell me another one with a 20% discount and so I agreed since I had a child crying in my vehicle outside. As we were completing the transaction she abruptly pulled the defective one from the counter and tells me in a harsh tone "there just take it". At this I thanked her and stated that I felt this was the right thing to do and again rudely she responded "the right thing according to you!"Definitely not worth the 1 star, however, unfortunately zero stars is not an option. After this horrendous experience I strongly advise you to spend your money elsewhere. Total ripoff!

I rent my kids music/band instruments from here, even though they are not the warmest on customer service I still love they are very good at explaining things to me. They have the patience to find what I need and that is all that matters to me. It's also very affordable to rent an instrument.

Very unwelcoming environment. Never really had a positive experience here. Been going there for my kids percussion and guitar needs. And also to rent violins and saxophones over the years. The staff always seems somewhat bored and uninterested in helping me. Today I just had to buy a little harmonica. No big deal. The lady was very unfriendly as she walked me to the section. And then just stood their looking annoyed the entire time, which wasn't long for a harmonica. I asked about books for it and she just pointed to a rack of books. No advice or insight or recommendations. Just a rude point. I felt so unwelcome the entire time.

I bought a trumpet mouthpiece here rather than Amazon as I wanted to support a local business. The mouthpiece had issues and did not play correctly and when I went to return it, was told that since it was more than seven days, they couldn't take it back. 7 days?! That's a ridiculously short amount of time to make an adequate assessment on something related to music. I should've bought from Amazon and will never buy anything from Meeker again.

This place is great! I have a clarinet that sat too long and the pads on my keys dried out. Another music shop quoted me $200 to fix it....I called Meeker and took it down there. .. $40! The staff is really friendly and they have all kinds of neat things there to purchase.

Over this place and their terrible customer service. There staff is so unfriendly and lazy. After 5 years of patience with their staff, I can't handle it anymore. We needed a larger instrument and the lady tried to say we would be fine with the size down. When we explained that our daughter's teacher said she needed the larger size, she was upset because she had to go upstairs for it. I'm not even joking. Not only that, we were given an instrument with a broken case because they didn't have a proper one on hand. They suggest I sew it myself. They later replaced it after that one broke and I had to follow up on the previous replacement. Any time we've been in the store, we have been greeted with ignorance and rude attitudes. I won't even get into the recent situation but I have had it and will never rent or purchase from meeker music again. What a terrible establishment.

GREAT place to get an instrument serviced.Their prices are very reasonable. I got an estimate for a flute repair at another store and they quoted me more than twice what I payed at Meeker AND it would have taken two weeks. The repair techs at Meeker are great! They offered me advice on the phone and an honest assessment regarding a not so well known brand flute and fixed it in just a few days for a fair price. No sales pitch or inflated pricing for " polishing" or " cleaning" a flute in great cosmetic condition.The lady at the front desk is very nice as well. I will be a regular customer!
