I am use to playing courses in San Francisco and Cali which resemble Meadow Hills...aka a more traditional style course with tree lined fairways. The course is nicely maintained and the price is right. Greens were crazy fast for me.Great course to walk, ride , or take a push cart.Reasonable greens fees.Real grass driving range

First time playing this course. We had some rough first tee shots and were immediately approached by the marshal telling us we need to play from the whites instead of the blues. Even though we were stuck behind a very slow 4 some and already 5-10 mins before our tee time. We had 2 entitled grumpy old ladies who were riding our ass the whole time complaining but not playing through.

Another day, another golf course. Tis the motto I'm working with this Summer and a good one at that!Because we've played maaannnyyyyy of the other (public) courses throughout the city, it was my mission to find one that was: 1) Decently close(ish) to home and 2) A course we hadn't played yet!Enter: Meadow Hills.PRO: Easy peasy reservation process. I was able to book online, choose a time and enter our parties information in, without having to pay up front!CON: They only have the "walking" rates available online, although carts are available upon request for an additional charge.PRO: Pricing is under $22/person during the week and weekends.CON: No resident rate or military discount is offered.PRO: Pro shop is large, clean and features a large amount of merchandise.CON: The "half-off" rack featured polo's that were not correctly priced, so what I thought was a $15 shirt, was $30.PRO: Greens are GORGEOUS. Because it is one of the older courses in Aurora, the trees are mature, there is plenty of shade, and the course provides quite the backdrop for photos and overall experience.CON: This course is tough! A full length, regular sized course for both the front and back nine. Be prepared to encounter water, sand and the occasional goose!PRO: We booked the last tee time for 6:20, arrived early, with no one ahead or behind us!CON: Carts must be returned by 8:00pm, so you either have to be a great golfer or skip the last 2 holes like we had to :/PRO: Bar and grill out front for your drinking and dining needs! Able to buy drinks to accompany you on the course.CON: Eh, nothing amazing was offered and the pricing was outrageous for a six pack of beer. Although there is a con to each pro, this course was beautiful and fun to attempt in playing, but I'll have to up my golf game to return!

Went out with a group of 3 today. Had the Marshal come up to us on the 17th hole telling us that we were moving to slow. We finished 18 holes in 3 hours and 45 minutes. The standard time allowed for 18 would be 4 hours and 10 minutes. Yet we were getting rushed with plenty of time to spare. Be weary these guys will rush a group of 3 for a group of 2 even if you are making great time. Hopefully no one in your party has to use the bathroom. Horrible service.

Like others have said Meadow Hills is a previous CC that is now a public course. It is very walkable because of the shorter length and flatness of the course; actually, from what I saw most people were walking it, which is not typical for most courses around town. The course is challenging because of the mature trees that line nearly every hole. The greens are also smaller, so you need to be accurate with approach shots. For being early October the course was in great shape. The main issue you'll have is finding your ball in the fall because there are many leaves on the ground. If you hit the ball straight you can score. On holes I blew up on I either went into the water or trees. I do think the price for a round is a little high but comparable to Denver prices; I think it should be priced similar to Aurora Hills but again it isn't too expensive, especially when walking. They also have a pool and tennis courts on site, so I imagine it's quite busy in the summer months. The staff were friendly but there was no food/beverage cart on the course. I think I saw a marshal once or twice but they didn't identify themselves as such. The pace of play was fine for Sunday, maybe a bit slow at 4.5 hours, especially considering that there were smaller groups ahead of us. I will happily play Meadow Hills again in the future.

Very well kept course. Beautiful green grass, amazing trees as other reviews mention. Not too difficult, great play for everyone. Rangers are good at keeping pace of play on weekends.

The course is very fun, and the staff are generally friendly. My complaint lies in the fact that when they do maintenance, which appears to be often, they don't tell you when making your tee time. So, expect to encounter sanded greens, aeriation of the greens, aeriation of the fairways and the like. All they would have to do is just post the conditions on the web and tell customers. It feels like that part of the operation is a little disorganized. For example, this spring, even though they knew the snow or rain was coming, they aeriated and fertilized after, not before. I am sure they receive some good weather information, so this is really inexcusable and it makes for poor playing conditions.

I have to give this one a 5 star rating, it is an old course with mature trees and a fun layout. From what I understand MH use to be a private golf course and it has that feeling, a lot like the courses in the mid-west that were designed by the old masters. MH is not a long course but the only way you can score well is with well placed tee shots. If not, you have some tree trouble. Several dog-legs require an accurate tee shot to a specific length off the tee in order to have a clear shot at the green. Some long par 3's on this one, with the longest measuring some 230 yards. An interesting set of finishing holes that takes you back into a condominium area where an errant tee shot can rattle off a roof (which one of my playing partners did, causing the owner to run out and look for damage, fortunately there was none) anyway that is what you get for purchasing a property that is within 10 yards of a golf course.Meadow Hills is a complex that includes tennis courts, a swimming pool and buildings used for meetings (a true old country club). The day I was there every area was being fully used. The pro shop is well stocked and the personnel are friendly and helpful.Green fees are very reasonable, especially if you are an Aurora resident. All in all, a course I will certainly visit again and again.

Had a great time here a couple weeks ago! Great course with some challenging narrow holes! The staff was very friendly and the people were great around us. Definitely recommend playing here!

We had a very frustrating Marshal that belittled my friend for working on his game. Apparently this place is "not the time or location" to work on your game. After a rough hole, we were told to move to the next hole as we were holding up the pace. However, when we jumped ahead we ended up waiting for the large group in front of us. I don't understand paying for 18 holes and being treated like trash. Not recommended for your average golfer, professionals only!
