McGill's At Crested Butte

McGill's is a Crested institution. Great food, generous portions, friendly service. We have sampled most of the menu and can vouch for the eggs benedict (with salmon!), corned beef hash, pancakes, French toast, and omelettes are all exceptional. McGill's has a classic diner feel - nothing fancy because the emphasis is on the food and service. No visit to Crested is complete without breakfast at McGill's to fortify one for a day on the slopes.

This place rocked. Very little frills diner that makes some quality food.We had the Haystack and the breakfast burrito. My fiancé and I easily could have just split the haystack and left full but I'm glad we got the breakfast burrito because the green chile is truly some of the best I've had in CO. Be warned, it has some HEAT. I'd recommend the burrito with the hashbrowns because they make the hashbrowns CRISPY and it adds awesome texture to the burrito. The servers keep the tables turning and your coffee full. Definitely check this place out the next time you are in CB

Need breakfast? Well this is the place. Don't let the long line fool you. It goes faster than you think. Unfortunately, all parties need to wait outside till your table is called. But for the best hashbrowns, breakfast potatoes and eggs in town, McGill's reigns supreme. My favorite dish? Believe it or not, it's their Ahi Tuna Salad. If you ask nicely, they'll even prepare it for breakfast.

So McGills is uh-mazing. This breakfast spot has everything. Coffee, am cocktails, gluten free, vegan options, non-vegan classic breakfasts, real maple syrup, and even some fiery green chili. We loved it so much we went two mornings in a row. The husbeast got the New Yorker, side of biscuits and gravy (bonus you can get the gravy with vegan sausage!). I got the breakfast burrito with veggie sausage and topped with vegetarian green chili. It was huge!Highly recommend McGills. It gets busy! There is nice patio seating too.

About a 5 min wait on a Saturday morning during Spring Break. Not bad. You can tell they get busy though. Breakfast burritos with green chilli was awesome.

Terrible service, rude servers. Below average diner food. We won't be back. Stick to paradise cafe.

The veggie scromelete is so delicious. The pancakes and fresh biscuits are amazing. The service is so kind and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming and so friendly. Can't wait to come back for lunch!

The food service and ambiance were great! Expensive but everyplace in Crested Butte is expensive. I would go back for sure.

Best breakfast in CB. Always has good food. The pancakes are great, biscuits and gravy are good. Omelettes are almost too big to eat. It's a tradition with our family to eat there the first day we are in Crested Butte!
