Probably one of the most photogenic parks I have ever stumbled upon. There were families everywhere on this beautiful Sunday afternoon soaking in the lasts bits of summer here in Denver. Everywhere I turned I was more and more amazed by the beauty. From the trees to the river to watching the sky turn golden as the sun set, this made for a perfect stop for an early fall best friend photo shoot.

This small park is right off the Cherry Creek Trail. Mainly people such as walkers and cyclist use this park as a rest stop when traversing the trail. This lovely oasis has cool shade trees, a pavilion with picnic tables, a restroom with water fountain and beautiful scenery as far as the eye can see.

Came to have some photos taken. It's a nice park with lots of crannies so you don't feel crowded. Though it can get crowded. That day there was a group at the picnic shelter and lots of bicyclists. It was hot. The water fountains didn't seem to be on as one walker found. But we had brought our own water so we were fine. The bridge is a nice spot to watch the stream running below it. And to take photos. We rested in a rock formation dedicated by The Rowan Tree Foundation to children who had passed. It's to give some comfort to their families knowing the children have not been forgotten. The angel decor was lovely and poignant. Looks like you can obtain remembrances of your loved ones to honor their memory. That's cool. The garden stones are no longer available but you can obtain an engraved memorial tile on the group's website. There was another rock park with seating on our path. Since it was so hot we decided against walking too far from the parking area. There is parking but it's not large. I've never been here when it's completely full but I'm sure depending on the time of day it can get crowded. It was a lovely visit and we will be back.

We came to McCabe Meadows to take family pictures and it was absolutely beautiful. We took them on a weekday afternoon bc the weekend is pretty busy with bicyclist and walker/runners on the bridge. We took some on the bridge and by the creek.

We took some maternity photos here. Nice nature walk that is open and off of a busy street. The area had signs to learn about the park. I'd recommend for pictures or a walk.

Parker's Treasure on Cherry Creek. Hiking, Biking, and Walking trails for everyone. Plenty of parking, great for kids and adults alike. The City of Parker stays on top of all maintenance and keeps the park in tip top condition. This is a great place to come take pictures or bring your easel and paint the perfect picture of Mother Nature. The Park offers trail access to the 42 mike Cherry Creek Trail as well as the New Salisbury Park Trail. Check it out you'll be glad you did.

This is one of the smaller parks in the Parker area, but it's never that crowded so it serves its purpose. There's a short paved trail that loops around in the open space and also connects to the Cherry Creek Trail. The ball fields at Salisbury can be accessed from this trailhead as well. There are a handful of covered picnic tables One of the more interesting things about McCabe is the Parker Arboretum that has been established here. The town website says the Arboretum project began in April of 2002 with 34 trees, and an additional 109 trees have been added the past two years, bringing the total Arboretum population to 143 trees of 51 different varieties.
