May's Glam Nails

Not very impressive! Visiting from California and wanted to get my nails done and this place was the first on the list so I gave it a try. Service was good . But my nails literally felt like burning when I put them in the machine , ouch. Anyway the looked pretty good the day off but next day 4 of them had a crack in them. So bad bad job whatever product they use or the drying machine , I don't know. But 35 dollars down the drain.

So happy to have come across this nail salon. I'm from California and my boyfriend lives around town. Found this shop through Yelp and was happy to have come in on a day where it wasn't busy so I was helped immediately. I had come in needing an acrylic removal and a whole new set. The nail tech who was working on me did not hurt me one bit. Not with the removal or with shaving and buffing the new set. Really happy with this place!

Needed a pedi ASAP, leaving for vacation the next day. I had stopped by another place but they had gone out of business, so I stopped here. I had reservations as I'd been here before and was unimpressed. I walked in and was surprised at the newness of it. This is not the same business as before. This lobby appeared clean and fresh. I was greeted by 2 young men and asked to sit in a chair of my choice. I was given a book of colors, so many colors! I chose a nice purple and was then treated to a great pedi by Kayla. She took her time, made sure I was comfortable and did an excellent job! Will definitely be back!

May did a great job! Super thorough and well done. She also got them super thin, which I love. Would go again!Edit: It's been almost a month, I've neglected filling them in, and not a single one of them is loose/broken. Probably the most sturdy nails I've ever had.

They used to be great when Tony was with her, then he moved to Springs. May took over my manicure assuring me she knew what Tony was doing and she knew what I liked. In actuality, she was always doing a rebase even when I asked for a full set! She always would say, "I know what you want Mama. I take good care of you". The salon is not clean either. I was just liking to follow Tony to the Springs, but she would never tell me where he went.

Walked in for a pedicure, and the ladies were very sweet and welcoming. May, did my pedicure she was so attentive and sweet. Tina was the other technician there and she was helping pamper an older lady that wasn't verbal and a little wobbly and helped her out of the shop with her partner. Conversed with both and had a great time Will definitely be back.

Not a bad mani, but that place is very dirty. Hated putting my hand on the table to cure my nails. It was nasty. Nice people. Please learn how to clean.

I will NEVER go back to this nail salon. went twice. the second time the gel polish failed in less than 5 days... then I'm told only three of the five nails would be fixed because I caused the other breaks?!!!Smiling in my face, calling me friend, giving me wine.... all to cover for the lack of artistry and professionalism.NEVER AGAIN.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke and I had the owner as my tech. I came for a mani pedi. I asked for a tips with shellac and instead I was given a dip powder manicure, she started by gluing tips that were entirely too big for my fingers leaving it to rip off my skin on the sides, she had family come in and wasn't paying attention and cut me on 4 of my fingers and proceeded to tell me "I forgot I'm working" and not once did I see any clean files or utensils, the had all been previously use on other clients. My pedicure was 40 and I left with a total bill of 105.. my nails are trash and I'll be going elsewhere to get them fixed. I do not suggest this place.

Very nice and not too expensive. There was no wait and I was helped right away. I showed my mail tech Amy a picture of the color and length I wanted and she was able to pick them all out for me and got started right away. It's just what I wanted. The environment was very inviting and clean I will come back. Only 4 stars because my cuticles did get a little cut up but that happens almost anywhere I go. $55 for what I got, I think she was saying it's normally $50 but I payed extra for getting extra colors but I am not sure if that is what was being said.
