May Palace Restaurant

I cannot possibly imagine what people giving one star reviews are thinking. I've been coming here my whole life. This place is amazing. Never had a dish I didn't like. Staff is friendly. Come here for a chill environment, good value and great Chinese food.

Fast, friendly and tasty takeout. I hesitated due to the reviews to try May's Palace it is right around the corner from our new house. I was extremely impressed. I ordered Beef with Broccoli, Crab Rangoon, Vegetable egg rolls, and spicy shrimp fried rice about a half hour prior to closing on a Saturday night. It was one of a few options for takeout open later. The food had a good flavor and was not greasy. The staff at checkout was very friendly. Don't let the reviews scare you. This is a solid business and worth a try.

Great food and very reasonable prices, just delicious food, thank you, we are out of town and we recognize the quality of the food.

I enjoyed my dinner at May Palace; however, my boyfriend did not. He got the Volcano Chicken and it was overcooked and dry, not very spicy, and the broccoli it came with was nearly raw. I on the other hand got the Orange Chicken which I thought was good. I even liked the orange slices it was garnished with. We also ordered crab rangoons which I thought were pretty good, and some steamed pork dumplings which we liked. The bar seemed much busier than the restaurant. I liked the decor and music they played. Overall I would go back but my boyfriend would not.

The food is not good at all. Quite possibly the worst Chinese take out I've ever had. Do not eat here!!!

Get Gyoza, fried dumplings, lettuce wraps & any chicken dish. The service was impeccable & the bar on the opposite side was great too. Charlie the bartender rocks & Alice in the restaurant is adorable! I'm not sure why other reviews are negative but our party of 7 all gave it a 10.

I stopped into Vail for a couple days for business, and wanted something close to my hotel so I didn't have to drive in the snow. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant, and I was very impressed with their website and easy navigation to order. Ordered both the Mongolian beef and the kung pao chicken plus the spring rolls. Picked up my food, and brought it back to my hotel. It was packaged well which is always a good sign. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients and great flavor! I'm pleased that I stumbled upon this great restaurant! Highly recommend to anyone picky about their Chinese food!

Horrible, just call and ask them a question and see for yourself. NOT GF SAFE! Cannot understand basic English and I do not understand basic Mandarin so that's usually not a good sign when you can't communicate to the staff.

Ordered red curry and thought it was Thai red curry, not expected, they charged 2 dollars extra to substitute bell peppers for bamboo shoots which was not mentioned at time of ordering Food was ok but pricy, main reason for negative is overcharging and not mentioning up front!

I'm not sure how our food showed up smelling like feet or how our sesame chicken looked inedible, but it did. Huge waste of money, super disappointing.
