Mausam in Old Colorado City is an absolute gem for Indian cuisine! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. We started with the samosas, which were perfectly crisp on the outside and packed with flavorful, spiced potato filling. For our main dishes, we ordered the chicken tikka masala and paneer butter masala, and both were phenomenal. The chicken tikka masala had tender, juicy pieces of chicken in a rich, creamy sauce that was perfectly balanced with spices. The paneer butter masala was equally delicious -- the paneer was fresh and the buttery tomato sauce was so good we found ourselves savoring every bite. The portions were generous, and the dishes paired wonderfully with gluten free chickpea bread and fragrant basmati rice. The staff were attentive and kind, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.Mausam is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in Old Colorado City. We'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu! Highly recommended!

I had my first experience here and I guess I expected a little more then it was. Don't get me wrong it was good I just wasn't wowed. I got the butter chicken with garlic naan and my husband got the lamb vindaloo with garlic naan. Now the butter chicken was a little too tomato-ie to the point where it was kind of difficult to taste the spices in it. As for the chicken it's self... cooked to perfection soft and juicy. The vindaloo my husband said it was a good level of spice and that the lamb was nice and tender. Now for that garlic naan ... oooff super soft and so buttery with the perfect amount of garlic. I would go back for that naan * chefs kiss* !! And let's not forget the samosa !!! That was actually pretty yummy!!! Soft and crunchy and a little bit of sauce. Yum!!Service at this place while good for me it sounded a tad robotic. I don't know if it was just an off night or that's what it is. Overall the place is super cute and fun. I'd def try it again. I look forward to the garlic naan !!!

This is the best food I've had in a restaurant anywhere in the US, period. The flavors, quality and preparation of every dish I've had is off the charts. Service and ambiance is on par with the food. Can't believe this location was a former Pizza Hut in Colorado Springs!!

9/10/24 My husband, mother in law and I came here for dinner. Mausam Restaurant exceeded our expectations with a delightful dining experience. We were seated promptly. Our server, Rammie, provided excellent service throughout the meal. We started with garlic naan, which was perfectly warm and soft. The chicken tikki chaat added a burst of tangy freshness while we savored the flavors awaiting our main dishes. The bhindi masala was rich in flavor, while the bhuna lamb was tender and savory. We ordered spice level medium which was just hot enough for us to enjoy every dish. To finish, the mango lassi was refreshing and sweet. Every dish was served hot and packed with flavor. We arrived just in time, as the restaurant filled up quickly--proof of its popularity! The ambiance inside is very nicely decorated. Chef's kiss to the entire experience!

This may be my favorite Indian I have ever had including in India. Specifically the garlic Nan and malai kofta. The garlic Nan is perfectly cooked with a great crisp and fluffy dough. The malai kofta has an amazing cashew curry base with the best kofta balls I have had. They are packed with spices and lean more towards the needed side than paneer side. I was not as big of a fan of the dessert but I am not much of a dessert person anyway. While this is definitly a pricier Indian place it is well worth the price and the portion sizes make it so we just share each time and it balances out. The staff is very friendly as well and are quick with ice cold tap water whenever you need. They went out of their way to brand their restraunt as a high end place and it shows in the atmosphere. Overall an amazing Indian place that deserves all the attention it is getting.

Wow. This was absolutely delicious. We ordered butter chicken, soya cheap masala and garlic naan, all of which were absolutely amazing! Service was great! They are kind and willing to answer lots of questions about the cuisine. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. I was sad that I was getting full because I wanted to keep eating. Great sized portions. Just wow. All around a great experience!

Hidden gem! The food is so delicious and flavorful! I can't get enough of this place. Excellent wine selection too. Ali is a great server too. Hats off to the chef though- the spices are just right and the tandoori jumbo prawns are my favorite so far. Was so into my meal, forgot to take a pic.
