This fast casual Mexican style restaurant is quite good. Friendly staff and recently updated POS equipment. We usually order the Carne Asada taco plate with the guac sauce on the side along with a Chicken Flying Saucer. The meat is always tender and at a good temperature. The rice and beans are very authentic. Veggies on the side as well as the limes are always fresh and flavorful. I have also had a couple variations of their breakfast burrito. They are large. You definitely get your monies worth on anything you order here. Also they have fountain zerosugar Coke along with the usual sodas. Horchata as well. Clean booths or if you prefer, they have tables to.

Had to run an event down the street at UCCS, and stopped in at Mauricio's for lunch beforehand. You order at the counter, like at a taqueria, and they bring the food to you but you bus your own table. I had fully intended to get tacos, but when I saw chilaquiles, I immediately pivoted and couldn't have been happier. I've eaten chilaquiles across Mexico. These are contenders, very good, very authentic. They also have their own homemade salsas, which they provide with your plate (red and green). At lunch hour on a Thursday, there were only three tables including me, but it sounded like they had an active drive through. Parking in private lot. Great folks running the place. Whether you're visiting or local, this place is legit. Check it out!

Hearty is right! For under $5, each taco is double the meat you find in California tacos. Im a man and I ate one and was satisfied. Omg the cabeza is gooddd. Too bad no option for lengua in a taco or torta. Salsas are decent too. The torta was overflowing with meat. Meat Just right seasoned and had onions and cilantro. Tacos came w radish and cucumbers. Nice authentic touch.

I hadn't been here in about 3 years but it remains one of the best taco spots in the Springs! Tacos are big, packed with meat and are prepared the traditional, delicious way a taco should be. Recommend the tripas and adobada. Their spiciest salsa definitely has a kick to it. Fast friendly service with plenty of seating. 4 tv's each showing different programming at sound levels that did not interfere with each other.

Everything about Mauricio's is phenomenal. I recommend this joint to everyone I know. The family is friendly. The food is never less than. I drive from Denver down to the springs just for Mauricio's. I've been going here since 2018 when I was in school and went five days a week. Religiously. The lengua is out of this world and I don't hate on that tripe. At all. Taco life. All day. I just mad they still won't sell me a Mauricio's purple hoodie. Lol. Been begging for years!

first thing we walk in and the girl at the counter straight up lies to our faces.we ask for 3 water cups and ahe tells us water isnt working.then i tell her 3 small drinks but they only have large cups and didnt tell us .then a regular or the owner comes in and tells her he wants a water cup and she gives him one.the water was working fine it cost us over 10.00 for drinks when we just wanted waters.you think your the o ly place in town to get mexican food.being dishonest to the people keeping you in business is a giant red flag.it doesn't matter how you handle this we will never ever be back to a lying dishonest place.i am gonna post once a week until you close your doors.this is where you find out fafo boycott this store.they are lying thieves. time to make some phone calls to the state and let them know how dishonest your employees are.time to get closed down.
