Mariposa Cabins

First, check their website out. These cabins are not in Colorado springs they are in Green mountain falls which is about 15 minutes west of Manitou springs.I stayed five nights in The rustic cabin. And it was lovely, very down-to-earth small cabin. Would be really perfect for two people. all the amenities you would need. Bring food you're set. Small deck on one side wiItth some really comfortable patio chairs and there was sun on it most of the day. around the other side there's a big picnic table and a barbecue.There are two cabins on each side but no one was home. It's at the end of a dead-end road so it's nice and quiet. A deer and a fox walked past the cabin. I know I'll be staying there again.Note: very steep wooden stairs you need to go down to get to the cabin.

We wanted to make those kind of long lasting, heart warming, one with nature memories, and we did at Twin Rocks cabin. The cabin is beautiful and the rock formations around it are gorgeous also. A sweet doe even came by to welcome us our first day there!! :-) Vince and Nadine are so great at answering questions and as you plan activities your family wants to do. Whether they realized it or not, their suggestions and advice for day trips, places to go fishing, etc helped make our Colorado vacation everything and more than we hoped it could be. This cabin is very open concept, as you can tell from the floor plan on their website. It is nicely decorated with lovely art and artifacts. It is beautiful inside and out and very well maintained. The driveway is an adventure, AWD is recommended. I know our entire family would stay there again and again. Thanks Vince & Nadine for sharing this little slice of heaven with others!!

The cabin was lovely, the perfect amount of room for us. It was secluded, but not so far from town that it was hard to grab groceries. Its less than an hour to most attractions in the area and honestly just hanging out at the cabin was plenty! The wood burning stove really made the whole cabin feel homey and warm, and we got to spend a ton of time in the hot tub! The bed and blankets were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. It was the best birthday trip I had ever taken and we will be coming back for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mariposa Cabin! We stayed for a total of 4 days. We were looking for a cozy, quiet place to rest after adventuring. That is what we got! We especially enjoyed grilling out in the evenings and watching the sunrise out the bedroom window as birds came up to the feeder. The cabin has a gorgeous view of the mountains. Excellent location for all the outdoor sightseeing we planned. The owners were very accessible when checking in and out. We would recommend this cabin for those looking for a little mountain getaway.
