Delicious historical community breakfast and lunch place. Our breakfast was outstanding, as was the service. Had the western omelet. Highly recommend.

Took the kids for a mid-week mini-getaway when they had the day off. We had to start with breakfast and where better than Marion's? We were greeted and seated right away. (Bonus of going mid-week)The breakfast selection made it hard to decide. So many wonderful choices! Both of the kids got the Country Breakfast, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and choice of breakfast meat. One got sausage links the other got bacon. Me? I love a good Benedict. I had the Evans Benny: grilled ham and swiss on sourdough with two easy eggs smothered in Hollandaise. Wow! That was a treat!Service was great and the folks there are welcoming. This will be a definite breakfast stop when we head into the mountains in the future.

We checked out Marion's on a Saturday morning and had a great meal. It is a no-frills diner that will satisfy your big breakfast cravings. Ample parking is available right outside the front door. Our table of 4 ordered two breakfast burritos, one with pork green chili and one with vegetarian green chili. Both green chilis were delicious. We also had a country breakfast and a skillet. The pancakes were golden and the perfect thickness-- add chocolate chips! The skillet was just ok. The eggs were cooked perfectly for over easy but the potatoes, meat, and peppers were dry. The next time we go, we'll split a burrito and a stack of pancakes. Definitely check out Marion's if you're in Idaho Springs!

This is a unique place because of its authenticity. I feel like I discovered a gem. We will try to stop as we pass by on our trips up and down the mountains just to indulge in a great feel-good meal.

Cute little breakfast spot in Idaho Springs. The place is very old school and definitely feels like you step into someone's home. The food wasn't too bad nor was it that good. I ordered the smothered breakfast burrito and it had a lot of hash browns which I loved! The coffee wasn't hot and it tasted a bit old. Service was ok nothing special.

Classic breakfast & lunch place in Idaho Springs. Quick and easy. They on the main street after exiting I-70 on the east end of town. There is free street parking. The menu is quite large. I shared their well frosted cinnamon roll with a friend. It was soft and gooey with a good amount of cinnamon. Nice and decadent. I then got a full stack (3 slices) of French Toast with banana slices and a side of crispy bacon. The French Toast was good and the bacon was very crispy. I got syrup served in a squeeze bottle which you could control the amount of syrup you wanted. Our server was Trisha A. She brought out the food correctly and kept coming back to warm up our coffee. The dining room faces north with big windows to see the hills. Everything was clean and quiet music was playing. They offer a rewards program thru Toast.

We have been stopping for breakfast at Marion's for years on trips west of Denver. Have always loved their food and service. They used to have the best bacon in the state! Not anymore. The food overall was just ok and the bacon was pathetic last week. So thin you could see through it and tasteless. Once in the past I remember waiting for a table with other customers and all of us talking about how good the bacon was! The coffee and the wait staff were good but overall disappointed in the food.Hopefully, they will improve their food to the way it used to be. But, next time through Idaho Springs in the morning, I may consider other breakfast options.
