Lulu's Downstairs

It's all about supporting a local, live music institution! Fun place! Amazing crowd! Super talented artists from the area and around the world. I went for Edith Makes A Paper Chain and I'm really looking forward to Steve 'N' Seagulls next month. The venue is just big enough to be comfortable but small enough that you feel like it's a private show.

It's was a good experience. The atmosphere was so amazing. Felt like I was in new york or chicago.

What a cool spot in Manitou. Was invited to The Jayhawks concert and what a great experience. Lulu's Downstairs is a unique venue and I will definitely be back to catch more concerts or events. The downside to that night was we had made a dinner reservation at their upstairs spot before the concert. They were pretty behind on orders at first we were told the kitchen was only 30minutes behind, and then when we were about to order drinks we were told we couldn't order food at all. Unfortunately we left to get food somewhere else.

Fun and unique venue, bar and restaurant. Great staff and service with a amazing vintage decor and ambiance. So great to see this place so full of rich local history back up and running. Great local spot you don't want to miss!

Have you ever wanted to feel like you've walked into a David Lynch movie?? This is the perfect place. The vibe is immaculate with top tier service, and I'm just talking about the upstairs bar. If you find yourself wandering the hallways and find yourself in the BEAUTIFUL downstairs show room and bar area you know why LuLus is literally the coolest place you can spend your time. I also heard they do comedy shows regularly which is great because the locals could use a laugh or two. 10/10 will be trying to move in to the place.

This review is just for the pizza since I haven't been able to catch a live show yet. However, the pizza is legitimately good. Sticky fingers is sweet and tangy, sweet from the apricot jam, tangy from the goat cheese, and definitely not something you'll find at most (or any?) other pizza joints in town. The White Wedding is probably just fine on it's own, but I've been trying to recreate a favorite pizza from back home and this was a good base. Add some fresh tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, and basil and it's nearly perfect to what I'm craving in a pizza. It's not the cheapest pizza delivery, and they're all 12" pizzas so if you're feeding a crowd expect to spend $$. Mostly I'm just glad to support another local place with good food.

We loved this magical spot in Manitou Springs. The venue is one-of-a-kind and after we discovered the new pizza restaurant upstairs, it became a go to when I'm in town. This is a great place to come for a show or for dinner and I highly recommend it.

what a great venue downtown Colorado Springs. It is nice. there are a few seats, but there's lots of standing. Bartenders are nice. Bathrooms are good and usually clean. Nice view of downtown if you feel like looking at the street below. Be careful the stairs if you drink too much that hasn't been a problem for me though. I highly recommend. I've been here a few times since they've relocated. Prices are reasonable just wish they had food options or at least snacks. Overall, no complaints. Very happy with this music venue and with the great talent they bring in from all over the world.I also just read their open for coffee and some food items now. I will have to check that out! It's great to go to music venue and not just a typical bar in Colorado Springs.

Todd is the worst bartender that I have encountered in years. Todd sent more tone taking about who Todd is dating while several people waited to get service to try to order drinks. Todd didn't give a shit about the customer.
