Hands down one of my favorite spots in COS! There is something for everyone here. They have a cocktail bar, wine bar and brewery. For the beer and the wine they are generous with their samples. You can try diffent beers and wine before committing to a glass. The wine section is phenomenal! The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable about the wide variety of wines offered and made lots of good recommendations. The food was great! The dip trio was so flavorful. I loved the pea dip the best. Portions are quite large. Price is very good for the value. Flavors are unique. Ambience is AMAZING! I mean it doesn't get better than local relic. It's an old church after all!

I wanted to like this place a lot but it ended up being a bit disappointing. We got the strawberry French toast with ricotta because that sounded good. Both the strawberries and ricotta had a grainy texture and not much flavor. It didn't make it bad but certainly not what we were hoping for. The atmosphere and service were both good on the other hand. Naturally repurposing a church is always a cool idea and paid off. Additionally there is some nice outdoor seating with hanging lights which are always a nice addition. The decor was a bit minimalistic including the seating.

The Carter Payne group has re-purposed this 100 years old church into a co-op space shared by Local Relic, a nano brewery specializing in farmhouse ales, Araucana Bespoke Cocktails and Crusade urban winery. I ordered with the bartender behind the counter at Local Relic. After ordering my flight of 4 small tasters (maybe 3-4oz) at ~$10 I was invited to sit down at one of the tables inside where I was served cold water from my own carafe. I was presented with a menu curated by the the Carter Payne group but as only the appetizers were open to me at 3pm, nothing appeared tantalizing enough and at such an odd hour. Their brews are clean, but VERY experimental. For instance, the Rubbed Sage Saison was certainly true to its name but way to herbal for my taste. I even spied a Thai Tea Stout on their menu. Their IPA's were strangely earthy, but tasted clean at the very least. Although strange and unconventional, their ales at least consistently followed a very rustic, farmhouse trend. One small complaint -- I yearned for colder beers as my tasters were approaching ambient temps and did, therefore, lack that much yearned for crispness. Certainly a cool, unique setting to be sipping on some cold ones, without a doubt.

Local Relic was a stop on a self guided brewery tour. Super cool space with a few vendors (I also saw a cocktail bar in there, and we were able to order food at our table as well). The brews were really unique, including a beet cherry sour and wasabi stout!Service was super friendly and quick as well.

Such a cool space. It's like a food court, but for drinks. There's a cocktail bar and a wine bar. Local Relic serves absolutely interesting beers for the curious. They had probably 16 single barrel batches on tap so they rotate often. I had a fenugreek stout and a mushroom rosemary saison. They had others I'd love to try too. Additionally, they gave a few guest taps because that seems to be the kind of people they are.The food was delicious, and would go well with wines and cocktails too.

The Local Relic is an interesting and unique venue. The building has a brewery, winery, and restaurant. I only sampled from the brewery and ordered a meal, so I can't comment on the wine. The food was great, and consisted of fresh and ripe items, was well seasoned, and lightly salted. I would absolutely eat here again, and I'm so glad I found this hidden gem.

I attended a wedding in Colorado Springs, CO and in traditional fashion made sure to stop at a brewery. I only had time for one, but chose to stop by Local Relic. It is a non brewery producing more than 200 unique unique beers per year. The space is in an old church which provides a unique vibe. They also share the space with two different restaurants and a wine bar - so pick your poison. We got two flights while there and also had a goat cheese dip that was to die for.The beers they brew are unique and inspired by history. From a smoked beer that matches the water profile of Poland to a Wet Hop beer at table beer strength - you will not be disappointed with any of the beers you choose. Some of my favorites are below.Rubbed Sage Saison:A Belgian-style Saison brewed with organic rubbed sage from Savory Spice Shop. Imagine that the spicy profile you get from a saison was paired with Sage - delicious is what you should be imagining. Very lovely beer that would pair great with a Thanksgiving meal.Chinook Wet Hop Table Beer:A Belgian-style table beer hopped with fresh whole cone Chinook hops grown in Colorado Springs and harvested by the team. It sits at a 3.2% table strength and one that you could serve in a large carafe. Huge hop flavors and aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit while not being overpowering. A true Belgian does not drink for alcohol, they drink for flavor - and this beer hits the mark.BA Barleywine:An English-style Barleywine aged 30 months in first use Axe+Oak bourbon barrels. Most English barleywines are oversweet, which is a tragedy. This one is pleasantly balanced with oak & vanilla from the bourbon barrel, deep dark caramel, and molasses. Not hot in the slightest and you can barely tell the ABV - one that will sneak up on ya.pFriem Flanders Red:Before I introduce this beer, let me say I loved everything from Local Relic - but I have to mention this Flanders Red from pFriem. Local Relic does their own take on a Flanders Red, but wasn't on tap at the time - and I'm a sucker for the style. pFriem knocked it out of the park with this take - tart cherry, acidic, hints of malt. A perfect Flanders Red.___________

I was so disappointed @ Local Relic yesterday. Obviously the venue and vibe was cool, the mimosa flight was enjoyable. I went for breakfast tacos, which weren't on the menu anymore. The biscuits in the b&g were hard and dry (the gravy itself was yummy), and the potatoes & cheese inside the breakfast enchiladas were just bland (toppings on the enchiladas were good). I expected more, paying to eat out is hardly worth it anymore, inflated prices, deflated flavor

Location is no longer open to public... now a private event space. Visiting from out of town and stopped by because of great reviews... only to find no longer an open, public facing brewery... of course after paying for parking...
