Loback's Bakery

Nothing beats a classic, hole-in-a-wall, bakery. The whole store has an air of my childhood with all the older wood in the store. The donuts and cookies all inside are not fancy, but they are nostalgic and taste like home!I have not seen a classic, straightforward bear claw in a long while, and the taste was as good as I remembered. Definitely dropping by again when I am in town!

The only really convenient thing about this bakery is its hours. There is hardly ever a line here and, from the outside looking in, it seems a little grimy. It's a staple in town, so maybe I'm missing something, but going half a block down to the roastery would be, in my opinion, a better way to spend one's time. The food is hit-or-miss, but no one I've talked to has been anxious to be back.

Awesome local donut place - old school. Cookie, cinnamon rolls, rise and cake. Loved it.

BEST donut I have ever had before! The sweetest lady helped us choose our desserts. I have to say we are coming back to this town just for this bakery! ONLY on Saturdays, she makes some wonderful apple crisp donuts and I regret not buying all that she had left! I don't have any pictures but show up on a Saturday and ask for the most popular pastries she has and trust her word!! Can't wait to come back here already!

Same experience others have had unfortunately...2 stars bc the service was wonderful but the cake donut was the worst donut I've had in a long time...it was stale, greasy and small. I was really looking forward to trying their donuts :(

Styrofoam cups for coffee.... Really?? Had a 4 bite Kolache and a yummy donut and then I found out the price of the cup of coffee. Wowsa! Lots of cookies in the front display case. Maybe stop in to support local with afternoon cookies before 2 pm. We will not need to go back tho'.

Adorable little bakery! Cake donuts all the way! Highly recommend the blueberry and applesauce ones. The other donuts available paled in comparison.

This is a bakery not a coffee shop. BEST Dutch oven bread ever. Love the classic vibe that it brings in a world that puts a lot of effort into appearance but then the food is disappointing. Not true here! Food is great and a definite treat.

We dropped in for a quick breakfast treat and found this to be an awesome little bakery! The lady working there was so nice, the sausage kolaches were delicious, and we loved the donut varieties. The applesauce cake and the cappuccino cake donuts were our favorites. The donuts are on the smaller size, but this is a locally owned small business, so that's to be expected. Stop by and enjoy!
