Little Sunshine's Playhouse and Preschool of Colorado Springs

We started our daughter at Little Sunshine's just under 3 months ago in the toddler class and she absolutely loves it. The teachers are so nice and did such a good job helping her get settled into her new routine and making sure she was comfortable. I love the Montessori inspired lessons they run including no screen time, lots of hands on creative art projects, lots of outdoor time and reading. It is so hard as a parent to trust the most important thing in your world (your child) in the hands of strangers but Little Sunshine's has made that so much easier on us and I absolutely know that are daughter is well cared for there.

We love Little Sunshine Playhouse and so does our infant. He is well loved and gets to socialize with other kids. Cleanliness, safety, and care are top priorities and we are so grateful to send our son here.

We have had at least one kid at LSP since 2020 and can't say enough positive things about it. From the facilities to leadership to the teachers...everything is top notch. The kids have a blast but the learning curriculum is also impressive. You won't regret sending your kiddo here.

We absolutely LOVE Little Sunshine Playhouse and Preschool. Between by daughter and son, we have attended LSP for 5 years and have experienced ever age from infant to Pre-K 4. The teachers and staff are so incredibly caring. Ms. Dory, Miss Aly, Miss Mia, Miss Wendy and Miss Emma have all especially been so special to our family.Each age implements developmental and educational curriculum that are age appropriate and fun, implementing different learning styles.We cannot say enough good things about this school!

As a family with two kids who have been in a few different daycares due to cross country moves, we are very particular when it comes to childcare. When we moved to Colorado Springs a few years ago, I visited and researched over a dozen providers and quickly established Little Sunshine's was top of the list. While Little Sunshine's costs more than a few others, in my opinion the value is exceptional, including because they provide high quality meals every day (and for many other providers, kids have to bring their own meals, which as a working mom is just one more thing I don't have to worry about). They are also open much more throughout the year and have opening hours much more suited to working parents. The most significant reason for the 5 star reviews though, is the quality of teachers and programming. My son is always happy and smiling when I pick him up, and genuinely loves his teachers and friends. At 3, he knows all his letters and their sounds, knows all numbers and can count to 30, understands pattern recognition and gets to express himself creatively with the different art projects they do every day. All academic skills are taught in a fun, play based way and the teachers are phenomenal. Whenever I drop in throughout the day for an unexpected early pickup, the classroom is always filled with happy kids and no sense of stress (which is a minor miracle for a room with lots of small children!!)We love Little Sunshine's and are so happy about how they are helping shape our child into a happy, thriving individual.

Good people, good communication, feel safe with our child there. Overall, good pick for daycare.

The only place I've ever felt safe taking our daughter. She has learned so much with creative curriculum each month. The teachers are engaging and kind. Also love having meals provided.

Although we had to wait a full year to get in, this school has been nothing short of incredible since our little one started. The staff are always welcoming, the facility is kept very clean, and their app is a great way to see what our baby is up to throughout the day. Shout-out to Shelby, Seven, Fryda, Wendy, Destiny, Giselle, and all the other staff who take such good care of our kiddo. Thank you for everything you do!

The lilliput classroom is the best! My daughter has been in the class for over a month and we really have enjoyed our experience. She comes home with new skills all the time! Miss Brylee has been a great teacher for our daughter.
