PARENTS BEWARE:Feeding our baby breast milk from a stranger's mother was the final straw. But this was preceded by an instance of walking in on one of the caretakers shaking a crib a little too vigorously for comfort (all the while saying "GO TO SLEEP, GO TO SLEEP...."), and two months later my wife saw an open notebook where the teachers communicate during shift change where she read "fu*#! This MotherF@#$ing place see you all in hell tomorrow..." Given that the well-being of our children are in these people's care while we're off working each day, I'd expect that kind of behavior would result in an immediate firing. But despite our reports, not an apparent slap on the wrist resulted. Our infant was diagnosed with repeat cases of RSV (3 times) and ear infections several times. We feel this has a lot to to with a somewhat apathetic enforcement of their rules for sending sick children home and a generally unsanitary environment overall. This was all a shame, because there were some teachers that we really liked, but we just couldn't wait for another incident. The new daycare that we found was a bit more of a drive, but it's like night and day: When you walk into Young Scholars Academy, it's immediately like day/night from Little Sprouts. Everything is clean, it smells nice, each classroom has a structured curriculum posted with lessons in history, science, etc.. And mostly you can just tell that the vast amount of money you pay goes back onto making the daycare a much better place. At Little Sprouts, it's become very apparent that the money you pay goes into the bank account of a single person who exists behind the curtains. They don't even fill their hand sanitizers, bathrooms have been found to be missing either soap or paper towels (my personal pet peeve).2 stars out of sympathy mostly, for the few good teachers that have to endure working at this place.

After touring many childcare facilities we finally decided upon Little Sprouts for our newborn. We are both teachers and love this school. The main pull for us was the organic meals and environmentally friendly approach that Little Sprouts implements. They also have a really nice outdoor play area and animals for the kids!!! The head staff, Sara and Tesa, are amazing individuals. Very caring and always there for you & your kids needs. Another neat thing is that they accept cloth diapers, which very few places will do. They've done a great job with getting my 10 month old into a sleep/nap schedule! This made this momma very happy. Also, the place is wonderfully clean. Everything gets deep cleaned each evening. I'm slightly OCD with cleanliness and I have no problem sitting on the floor and playing with my little one.

Not only was I employed here (the Monument location) as the lead infant teacher, but I also had my toddler enrolled. This is not, and I repeat... NOT a place you want to work or enroll your children. The owner claims to only care for the children, but she's completely clueless in the world of early childhood education. She also could care less about her staff. Please, if you're considering this place for employment or as a daycare for your children, find some other daycare. The lies that are told to the parents, in order to hide all the bad things, are absurd.

My daughter (now 3) has been at Little Sprouts since she was 12 weeks old. As a first time mother, I was so sad leaving my little there to go back to work. The Little Sprouts team has been absolutely amazing for the past 3 years. No matter what class she was in, I always felt comfortable with the teachers. They did all the work for me... drinking from a cup, eating good nutritious, organic, home cooked meals, potty training, etc.I know she is loved, safe, and learning everyday. They do anything I ask with her care and always with a smile. They follow up and the 2 concerns I had over the past 3 years were addressed swiftly and immediately. Now I just wish they had kindergarten since we're sad to be leaving in another couple of years!

I'm extremely upset with Little Sprouts, as my daughter started with them when they were a smaller daycare at there smaller location, and had been going ever since. I had not had any issues with them and everyone was friendly, the teachers are great, we are going to miss Mrs Katie so much. I am very disappointed with the front desk Mrs Patty and the owner Lisa. I get CCAP which is government assistance, I feel very discriminated against due to the fact that I have CCAP and that's why they told me to leave their school. My daughter missed a few days due to my mom in the hospital for possible heart attack as well as I had purchased a new car and could not pick it up right away, she missed a total of 4 days I let the front desk know about what was going on, and stated if money is an issue id be more than happy to just pay the fee for the days she missed to Mrs. Patty. I was told to not worry about it, then when I went in to drop her off, Mrs patty asked me what was going on and why she missed days. I had already went over this with them and they acted as if I never spoke with them, I again explained myself. Not once did they ask if everything was okay, or show any kind of sympathy. I said to Mrs. Patty I feel like its all about the money, Mrs Patty replied with well it is, we only make 150-200 dollars off your child and 850 and more with other children. She flat out said that they don't make enough money off my daughter. I was in tears in the office, I told her id pay for the days she missed previously and she acted like they didn't want it, then I am being told something completely different. The following day my mother dropped off my daughter, the owner Lisa was in and they had spoke, and she told my mom it would be best if I took my daughter somewhere else. This was extremely heart breaking for not only myself, but my 4 1/2 year old who has made so many friends, and loved her teacher. My daughter only had 4 more months until she started kindergarten and then they do this to her. I find this selfish and so inconsiderate to the child, all because they didn't make enough money off my child. My CCAP worker was in shock when I told her, I am still in shock and extremely upset by this and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. My toddler loves it here. The staff are wonderful, the place is clean and safe, and they cater to my son's dietary needs. I also appreciate the teaching aspect; my son is learning songs, how to feed himself as well as age appropriate social skills. I highly recommend this place.
