Lessons In Your Home - Denver

We learned about this service online and after a great discussion with their coordinator, Alana, we were matched with Caitlin. She teaches our 5-year-old son piano. She is very patient, positive and fun and understands his age and abilities very well. He loves his lessons and she has brought her guitar to play and let him strum! She seems to know just what he need to stay interested and involved. We are so grateful to have found this service and Caitlin!!

Prior to contacting Lessons In Your Home, my son took guitar lessons for a couple months and just couldn't get interested in practicing during the week. Alana set us up with a local teacher named Erika and she is fantastic. She easily made learning the guitar and piano fun for him. When I've observed their sessions one thing I noticed right away is my son's comfort with her and a noticeable increase in his confidence. Now he practices every day! He even looks forward to his lessons which can be a challenge for any 10 year old.

I have been using Lessons in your Home for over a month now as a new drummer. They are extremely customer focused. They carefully match the right teacher with each student. Pretty awesome. They also take good care of their teachers.

Refused to honor a $100 gift certificate that I purchased. The gift certificate was valid and for new students only. Very disappointed. I was very much looking forward to taking some lessons. They would only honor it if i sign up for 2 years of service at over $150 a month. How would I know if I liked the lessons, want to continue the lesson unless I actually took some? I don't want to be roped into or forced to years of lessons right off the bat. Would not recommend as I do not respect companies that cannot follow through with their commitments to honor a gift certificate offered by themselves. What else would they not do. Obviously, only geared to the money.

Lessons in Your Home is awesome! I mean really, the teachers come to your house! It's so nice to not have to drive to one more activity. Our teachers, Sami (viola) and Joey (voice) are fabulous! We have been with LIYH for many years now and we couldn't be happier. Both teachers are fun, flexible, knowledgeable, talented and truly love working with my kids. The kids have learned so much from their teachers, which is wonderful, but the best part is the confidence that they have gained. Thank you!!

Very easy to set up and a phenomenal piano teacher (Micala) for my 7 year old. Highly recommend.
