Tortellini Della Nonna

I was hopeful that this eatery would live up to the favorable reviews posted on Yelp, but alas the 'good life', as is referenced in their name, was not to be enjoyed while I dined recently. What the food lacked in authentic flavor, it more than made up for in the hefty usage of salt. Overpriced entrees, expensive, low quality wine, and a waiter that went MIA half way through the meal. Save your money.Go to Olive Garden instead.

Just had the most amazing dinner celebrating our anniversary. The best Lobster Bisque we have ever had. I made reservations and asked for a quiet table and they did a great job seating us! Our waitress was very professional and gave us great ideas as to what to order. We have been to Italy and once we read the owner was born and went to culinary school there we felt we had to try it. The entire experience did not disappoint. We will be returning again for sure.

I made a reservation online for my parents & I which was very simple. The host & staff were lovely. The atmosphere was inviting. The food was EXCELLENT. I had the Tortellini Della Nonna which was mere perfection. If you're in Colorado Springs, it's worth every penny!

The food was delicious and the service was great. Waiter so attentive that he noticed a birthday card sitting next to my son so he took initiative and brought out a birthday Tiramisu with candle!

As an Italian, I'm always looking for good Italian food. If you want the same, DON'T eat here. One would think an Italian cook could at least master a good sauce, not here, their sauce was tasteless in there defense it was red. For mediocre food they charge gourmet prices definitely not worth the money. The atmosphere was "great" if you are a fan of eating in a high school cafeteria. All in all I'm embarrassed to say that frozen Italian food is better than eating here. Oh by the way all the awards on the walls are older than 2015. This restaurant needs to improve the taste of its food, change the non-existent atmosphere, and lower prices until the food improves.

I work very close to this restaurant in a medical office. Its always been very convenient and for the most part the food is always good. However,I am super displeased with the service I had gotten today when I called to make my regular order. ( I typically order 2x's a week)The manager answered, Eric. Said that they were busy and he needed to check with his kitchen staff first. I thought that to be very odd. He got back onto the phone and said, "Yea, I'm sorry but my kitchen staff said no." I asked, "Well that's weird, would you turn me away if I had come into eat?" He then said, "No, but they just want to focus on the customers that are there now and don't have time for just one order for pick up."Absolutely couldn't believe my ears. I spend well over $100 a month going there for lunch, and they're too busy for me today. Not cool. Wont be going there anymore.

Fantastic Food, but beware of the booth right before you go into Kitchen, you sink into it and it's very uncomfortable, to be safe, make sure you sit at a table.

I make a reservation. I'm waiting 20 minutes past my time to be seated. I then try to order eggplant parm once I'm seated only to then be told by the manager they don't have any left. Poor planning and the manager simply suggested coming back. No apology no voucher for next time Nadia. The flower on the table was also dying. Not impressed at all and the answer telling me that it is good and I need to come back was not want I expected for lack of effective planning or customer service. If that's how you deal with customers because of a food planning fail on a staple on a Saturday night that's not good business

Loved LaBella Vita Italiano Restaurante. Everything fresh. I had eggplant parm - was very good, and I'm from NJ ! My dining partner had manicotte which was excellent. Had an appetizer (of which I forgot the name) - - Italian toasted bread, thin layer of baked prochute, slice tomato, mozzarella, fresh basil leaf, and fresh pesto (or garlic & oil w/herbs). Had home-made Profitteral Cioccolato for desert.. (Three small egclaire type pastries with fresh chantilly vanilla cream inside, with warm milk chocolate on top with fresh whipped cream & mint). These were 'to die for'. LaBella should have t heir liquor license within 2 weeks, but we are 'foodies', so would dine at the restaurant with or without liquor. The owners are from Italy, very personable - - and the chef is also one of the owners. For those looking for excellent Italian food in Colorado Springs, this is the place. Prices are reasonable. The eggplant parm was $12 and change for lunch, but portion was as big as a dinner portion, and comes with Italian bread, home-made soup of the day or salad. Salad dressing was delicious, and they use bib and/or butter lettuce. Would eat at LaBella Vita every day if I could. * * * * *
