This stores customer service is over and above! Nikki Bolhus helped me try almost all of the recliners in the store!Being disabled I need a recliner with a just right fit with all the bells and whistles. The power lumbar support of a amazing the headrest support is as well.I fell in love with the power Trouper recliner w everything but swivel. The store didn't have one with that. I asked Nikki to see if any were at warehouse or other locations w swivel. She looked and hooray!! A beige cream colored one was available w swivel! She informed me it would be a little taller. I was so excited I hoped it would fit.Now here is the best part, we saved money picking it up at warehouse in town and i my grandkids called dibs of course. It looked great I was happy. The next day it was all mine. I tried it out and noticed my feet didn't touch the floor. I said I'll use it all day and see if it bothered me. It sure did! With my bad back the angle was too painful.Lazyboy return policy is three days from pickup or delivery for full refund. I called the store and Chase helped me with the refund and set it up for us to drop the recliner off at the warehouse. Very helpful. Quick and easy over the phone. The warehouse staff are amazing so helpful! Very efficient no unnecessary waiting. They wrap and load it for you and they unloaded from my suv Honda pilot. They fit easily because the back comes off. They gave us the return invoice and we were done. No fuss no pressure to trade it for another, just very helpful. I have had three lazy boys because of my disability and size I need a new recliner every four years or so just for my comfort. We pass them down to our children's homes. Our son in-laws love them! The I-clean fabric is amazing in stain resistance. No fabric warranty needed for I-clean.I will go back to store on Powers near t target on Bloomington Road to try some more. Knowing exactly what I need now.Thank you Nikki Bolhus for your exceptional customer service! It is a rare thing these days.Thank you Chase and Lazy boy for making returns so easy.

They give you a warranty on the motor for electronic recliners, but then when you process the warranty after it breaks, they tell you the wrong thing - promising someone will come out, but then they email you for more information and never follow up with you. then it expires after 10 days with the surCo and they will not fix it because they have a hidden policy. They don't share with you. These pieces of furniture are way over price. I bought it because it was American built, but holding their promise is not their priority. the customer service in America is not very good.

We ordered a floor model chair, and needed to have it delivered since we don't own a truck. Was told it was gonna be 2 weeks to get the chair since it had to go to Denver to get checked out, then back to the Springs to get delivered to us! First, why does it take 2 weeks? Secondly, why don't they have anyone at this store to check it out? Last time I purchase from them!

Zach! Zach! Zach! So kind and full of helpful information as I was again researching the best power lift recliner for my aging "LA-Z-Boy or nothing" father today at the Bloomington Street LA-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries located off of Powers and North Carefree today. All seven of their power recliners were here on the sales floor and at the very front near the entrance. AWESOME! So, yesterday, I was at the North Academy location and they only had 4 of the 7 recliners-all the way in the back of the store, against a wall. The salesman seemed to be put off and irritated after I informed him that my research and ultimate purchase would be for an aging father in a care facility in a different state. He was inconvenienced by my request that he write down the model name and fabric I was interested in because he did not have a pen and paper with him at that moment and had to go to his center store cubby to do so. When he returned, I thanked him and he left only to return later as I had not left. I asked for his pen as I needed to write down some additional information. He stated that he did not have the pen. Nothing else. I, fortunately am not easily discouraged and since this was a request by and for my elderly father, I told him that I would use my phone to take notes and pictures. He left. I then had to track him down to request a printout of the specs for the chair I was interested in. The guy even pulled the wrong material sampler and then pulled the correct one after I started comparing those color numbers to the ones on the spec sheet. Geez Louise! I took a picture of that too as my father would love to choose the color of his power lift recliner. It is the little things. The little things may not matter to this North Academy location salesman, but do matter to me. And at this end stage of his life, I will ensure that my father continues to get exactly what he wants and needs.Once again, Zach at the Bloomington Street location made this whole process enjoyable. He provided, unasked for, as well as additional valuable decision making information while making me feel like my business mattered. Now, THIS is the type of service my father said I would receive when buying a LA-Z-Boy.

So I went into la-z-boy in November to get a new recliner. Of course, they had to order it because they do not have them in stock - This - it is considered a custom order. I did not order anything ugly or outlandish. I order a standard chair, the James model, with a normal leather (I saw the same leather throughout the store), and with massage, and heat. Nothing special but a beautiful chair that could easily be sold to someone in the general public. Well, I went to pick it up today and when I see it, I realize that it is much too small of a chair for me. I decided not to take it and go back to talk to the sales associate, Nikki. She showed me a few more models which I fully intended on getting one but towards the end, she tells me, "well, there is a 30% restocking fee. I was shocked. After talking for awhile, she said, let me see if I can get that reduced for you. She comes back and tells me that they will reduce it to 15% IF I buy something new. I was like WHAT??? So you want me to pay about $300 to NOT take the chair and still spend more money with you? Forget it. I told her I would take the original chair but never do business with La-Z-Boy again. And I won't. BUYER BEWARE. Any chair you buy is going to have to be made since they don't carry them in stock and even if you want to buy something else, they will stick it to you. Unfortunately, I am stuck with this chair and each time I sit in it, it will remind me of how evil La-Z-Boy is. Goodbye La-Z-Boy, You lost ANOTHER customer for life.
