We have been wanting to try this place for a while now. We decided to give it a try and we were happy we did. The food was traditional and good. The service was great, the margaritas were yummy and the food was very good.

Not sure they actually put tequila in their margaritas. Carnitas is NOT carnitas, but cubed pork loin. Good sauces. Expensive for what you get.

I'm Mexican and this is the WORST Mexican food I have ever hard. I ordered the carne asada tacos and my partener ordered the posole and the beef red chile, All of which were disgusting and flavorless. The beans were rancid. When we brought this to the servers attention relayed the message to her manage (owner?) who came to are table and told us that we wrong and that the beans were fresh despite the fact that they were clearly rancid. She did not offer to get us fresh beans or give us a discount she just gave us the stink eye and told us that they were fine; Considering neither of us could get more then a few bites into the meal without fear of imminent food poisoning. Needless to say we both wore up stomach aches. All this costed 40 dollars! that I will never see again :(As for the dises: The meat they use is cheap and tough. The carne asada was fried chunks of the hard flavorless beef which were clearly not marinated.The red Chile was the exact same meat but with a bland chile sauce poured over it. ....and yes, the posole seemed to have same meat chunks as well.As mentioned in other posts the chips they use are store bought and really cheap.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This place is so good! The salsa was delicious, my tacos were delicious, and the rice and beans were too. I ordered a margarita and decided to get another. The waitress was very attentive and nice! My husband and I will definitely go back.

My wife and I have been coming here for 20 years. The family that runs this restaurant are the hardest workers we have ever seen and it shows.The restaurant is always very clean and inviting. The margaritas are great and one of the best in town. The red chili platter and the chicken mole is always my favorite and the same for the shrimp cocktail.

If you love Mexican food and aren't eating here, you are truly missing the boat. Tonight they had ablondigas, which is truly the best I've ever had. ( we brought 2 orders home for tomorrow night!). They have tamales for the Christmas season, absolutely amazing, I wait all year for them. This family run restaurant is the only place we go for Mexican food, it's that good!

Had dinner last Saturday and did not disappoint. Salsa is my favorite in town -- must like cilantro. Guacamole is handmade to order. Pork green chili was done well. It's hard to believe this generational mom and pop never reaches capacity and always has tables available. it's not your typical fast service chain restaurant. It's a great date restaurant as you'll have plenty of time for conversation. And if the conversation isn't stimulating, there's enough Mexican decoration to keep your mind occupied.

This was such a disappointment. The chips and queso were like something you'd get at a baseball game. The $24 fajitas were so skimp, it barely fed one. The $9 glass of wine was a short pour. Wouldn't recommend

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant. They work hard to make the food good. I appreciate that. The salsa is really good and I like the tacos also....

Wanted to like this place. The waitress was good but couldn't make up for the food. Commercial chips serve with homemade salsa. Ordered carnitas, was served flavorless chunks of pork mixed with a lot of sweet peppers. And for $18! My husband's fajitas were equally flavorless.
